I've had these lights got 5 years now and they are a.staple in my camp gear box to this day. We've gone through so many different light setups, but these are the most durable and versatile lights we've owned. I use them to light up all the areas of camp. I love that they are solar so once I get to camp, I may them out in the sun and they run all night long.The motion detect works great even after 5 years. They provide just enough dim light when no one is around so you can see but not bother anyone. Then when someone walks by, they brighten up so you can see what you're doing.I may pick up a few more because we love them so much. They clip onto anything and the springs are as strong as they say we bought them.

Works nicely on our teardrop camper 270 awning as an "after hours" security light in camp. The spring-actuated clamping system holds securely to the awning fabric. Made sure to get a full day of sun to charge the internal battery, and it lasted the entire night. The dim-to-bright feature when motion is detected worked as designed, and then returned to dim. I covered the lens of each light with yellow Lamin-x film so as not to be so bright. The film lessened the brightness of the white light, but did not retract from the function. The Lamin-x film can be removed with no residual adhesive left.

Nice lights. The LED is bright, and the motion detection is spot on. I use them while camping. I clip 3 around my campsite, so if anything comes into my site, it'll light them up. They stay on if turned on, but the light dims so it's just bright enough to see, so if I have to get up during the night, I can see where I'm going without a flashlight. They're solar powered too, and turn off when it's bright out, so no messing with batteries. All in all, great lights!

They worked well when I tested them after I got them.But after4 or 5 uses, the batteries would no longer hold a charge for very long.2 of the lights would not work for long. The other 2 last longer, but still not as long as when I originally got them.This was after I left them in full sun for over 8 hours.

We clipped these to the fascia along the side of our house where we keep our recycling and trash bins. We are in the desert southwest with plenty of sunshine and very little rain. These lights are fantastic for a quick trip to drop something in the bins after dark. It's nice how they stay dim until they sense motion, then brighten for just enough time. Update: 2.5 years later, they are not as bright as when new, but still working.

Worked to keep PACK RATS out of the car, for a few weeks. Does not work as well on pack rats as the person described for field mice. Better than anything else I’ve tried - and I keep trying everything. really a pain if you have to move them all day to charge them in the direct sun.

We love in a rural area so we chose these because they are portable and easily moved.Charge up really well with the sun.Nice and bright with motion detection.Only problem- the lights do not turn off completely and remain on without motion... due to light pollution it is not good for birds flying at night plus it wastes power to light up an area with no one to use the light.It's a great idea but they need to design them so they go dark when no motion is occuring

These clip solar lights are wonderful! I have used these on a shepherds hook and others clipped on our pool umbrella. The spring on the clip is strong and I love how bright the lights are. I have them set for motion activating and am impressed how much area they illuminate!
