Great! Mac Users!
Works as intended! I’m not crazy about NEEDING to have it 4k or anything like that. I just want to capture myself playing my PS5 games. The video looks great and I don’t feel any crazy lag from the PS5 to the OBS capture. I’m very satisfied with the results. Now, I’m on a Mac Mini and being new to this I was confused as heyull to get the PS5 audio in my videos. I got the mic audio and camera going though. I tried to follow the instructions, watched YouTube tutorials, etc. Still couldn’t.Figured out to go to Settings (in the Mac, not OBS), go to Sound, and on Input choose USB3.0 Audio. Now in OBS, in your Sources, click on the + icon and choose Audio Input Capture, Label it whatever you want, click ok, and in the drop-down menu choose USB 3.0 Audio. The PS5 audio should now be in the video and you can confirm on the Audio Mixer on the right in OBS to see the bar moving. NOTICE: If you don’t hear anything, make sure to open the menu on your PS5 from the PS5 controller by pressing the PS button, go to the speaker icon, press Output Device and choose HDMI Device (TV). If you have anything else chosen like your headset, you won’t hear any sound. Now, great! Got that going. How do I listen to my PS5 audio from my speakers or headphones with all that going? I don’t want to connect headphones to the capture card.Remember the Audio Input Capture you added in your Sources that you relabeled to get the PS5 audio in your videos? Yeah, that’s the capture card audio. In OBS, to the right of Sources there’s the Audio Mixer where you see all your audio devices working. Click on the 3 dots on the capture card one that you relabeled that brings the PS5 audio in. Then click on Advanced Audio Properties. A window will pop up, find the capture card device you relabeled, and under Audio Monitoring click on the dropdown and choose Monitor and Output. Now you can hear your PS5 coming from your speakers or whatever is connected to your computer instead of having to connect a headset to the capture card itself. On my Mac I have a pretty cool set up. I don’t have two monitors but I have an iPad. I connected my iPad as the second monitor, made it the main screen under Mac settings > Displays, and then switched my main monitor to PS5. Now I’m controlling OBS through my iPad and can see what I’m doing since I only have one gaming monitor. For sound I’m using my AirPods to connect to the Mac and my PS5 sound is there! Now I can record my gameplay, my voice, and capture it all. Thanks all!

Surprisingly good
Was looking for something to stream my switch to my discord when I’m playing with friends/family. I wasn’t looking to make it big in the streaming industry lol. So I didn’t want a super expensive capture card just to stream the switch every now and again. Came across this one for ~$20 and decided to give it a shot and if it sucked, at least it wasn’t breaking the bank.Boy, was I glad I did! Used it for a few hours and there was virtually no lag in audio or in gameplay. I have my monitors stacked vertically and I could play on either OBS on my PC or from the video from the switch and both were accurate. Family said the stream was good quality too. Two of them actually asked which one I bought and ended up buying one of these. It also didn’t get hot even though I had it running for about 3 hours. Wish it was a little bit heavier, but it’s a solid purchase regardless. Saw others complain about lag or no audio and didn’t have those issues. Worked fine from the start.Overall, pretty happy with the purchase.

Device is awesome, directions are not
I actually really love this capture card! Video quality is great, heat stays low, no lag, connections good. The capture card itself works great for what it is. However, I’m taking away a star because the DIRECTIONS are misleading. When using OBS, the directions say to click the +button under sources and to select USB3.0 device from the drop down menu.. there IS no option to select USB3.0 for everyone. If it does not pop up for you as an existing device, then you must CREATE a new source, name that source, and THEN you are able to select USB3.0 from a drop down menu. I run MacOS but I am seeing many PC users with this same problem. It took me forever to figure this out, just create a new source of its not coming up for you! Maybe they need to look into this and update their directions! One more thing.. do not use any audio from the capture card device, set up your audio peripherals from your OBS device. The capture card audio sucks!Still happy with the device and would buy another one.

Good game capture for switch
Ok device has three input plugs 2 hdmi. Input and output and a usb 3.0 to interface with pc to record over. It has a link to software that you use to record videos. So for example recording switch gaming output, you get the hdmi out from the dock to hdmi in on the capture box. The hdmi out can be run to your monitor but dont think you really need that. The obs recording software you can set up a input source and set it to the usb 3.0 input. Also the audio mixer is defaulted to a mic, so i disabled all of them except one and was able to reset it to the usb 3.0 input and bam, audio from switch came in. I set the video to 4k but switch is lower so it recorded at a lower res but it was 60fps and was full screen. Video and sound looked good and smooth. Saved as mp4. There is other setting to stream to most of the popular online websites. So overall im giving 5 stars, tricky at first to set up but figured it out myself within 30 min so im sure you can too much faster lol.
