It's actually a really nice controller
I'm a big nerd and I play a lot of games. I will say I actually prefer the feel of this controller over the Original N64 controller.For a 3rd party controller, I am very suprised on how nice it feels. It seems very sturdy and it's very reasonably priced. It's probably the best 3rd party controller I've purchased. I got the transparent blue color, and it looks really great.

Joystick Issues
Like some of the other reviews, the controller came with immediate joystick drift. Plugged it in and Mario Kart 64 was unplayable, it was in a perpetual state of left turn. Had to return the item.

Grab Only if you are in a pinch
I'm not a fan of build quality of the controller. You'd probably be able to make something way better than this. Now the only reason it isn't lower is because I'm still able to play Jet Force Gemini with no issues on the controls. It's better than nothing and can recommend if it's a last resort. Oh yeah and a full star off for the mismatched color connector. They paired the red with grey...

Fantastic upgrade
My original controllers for well worn after 30 years of play. They still worked but felt less responsive then preferred. This new controller felt like night and day! I can accurately input controls now. No more response lag or worn joy cons. Bonus points for matching my donkey Kong 64 game I've been hooked on

Decent substitute for the original
This controller is a decent substitute for the original N64 controllers. The accuracy is spot on, the button mapping works as intended, and we've had no issues thus far (including two rambunctious boys and a teen using it).One star was taken off because it is VERY lightweight and the durability isn't the same as the original controllers. The buttons are a bit more loose, which is concerning but so far it's alright.For the price, it's definitely worth trying.
