SPIDER-MAN/DEADPOOL VOL. 1: ISN'T IT BROMANTIC Review: Chapter “issues” covered. AMAZING book - First of all, I love these characters so much. The storyline is awesome and I will always be crazy over crossovers (especially with these dorks). The first book, titled “Isn’t it Bromantic?” Contains issues #1-#5 then jumps to issue #8. This is due to the fact of when the comics were being released at their original dates, they had a filler comic and an inventory comic between them. You don’t miss any of the actual plot from the first five issues if you don’t have #6(the filler chapter) and #7(the inventory chapter). If you get the second book, “Side Pieces” both chapter, 6 and 7, are in them. #6 calls itself a “filler plot” through Deadpool’s forth wall breaking and #7 has a note from Jordan D. White (from Mavel Comics) explaining the reason for chapter 7 being an inventory chapter. I really hope this helps someone better understand the chapter jumps. It’s not technically missing any chapters, and the plot is, for the most part, continued straight into chapter/issue #8. -from a true believer. Review: A wise cracking comic from the two most smart-assed characters in Marvel make this comic a true marvel. - This comic opens with Spidey and Deadpool being held captive by Dormammu of Hell and needing to rely on each other to escape. Of course, it turns out that Deadpool had set the whole thing up of Dormammu in order to spend time with Spiderman. He later shows up to help Spiderman with the bad guy Hydraman which goes horribly wrong for Wade (Deadpool). They do get the bad guy. Deadpool has a reason for wanting to spend all this time with Spider-man and it isn't just because he thinks the world of him as a superhero. Deadpool has hired to take out Peter Parker Spiderman's best friend and protector and Deadpool wants to get a sense if whether or not the intel he got was legit without having to actually ask Spider-man anything. The two find themselves going up against Mysterio who causes Spider-man to hallucinate and see the Green Goblin everywhere, but Deadpool knocks him out of the hallucination and the two take down Mysterio before he can do damage to the city. While Beck, Mysterio, is in the hospital recovering Parker goes to visit him and Deadpool arrives ready to take him out only to be foiled by a visit by "Spider-man", or Hobie Brown the man who sometimes stands in for Spider-man when Parker needs him to on occasion in order to keep up the appearance that the two of them are different people. This stops Deadpool in his tracks and he leaves. Next Deadpool invites him to do a job with him in Bolivia where they run into Styx and Stone and Deadpool forgets to tell Spider-man that the job is for a drug lord. A few days later Spider-man calls up Deadpool and asks him if he wants to hang out. So Deadpool takes him clubbing at his club but arranges a digital identity for Spider-man so his date and others won't recognize him as Spider-man. Things, of course, get out of hand and Thor arrives to be Deadpool's date only she doesn't know that. She's on his Free Pass list that he and his wife, Shiklah, have. Unfortunately, Spider-man's date is a succubus who hates Asgardians so a fight between the two break out and the men really enjoy the fight a bit too much so the ladies find a way to make them pay for it. But Wade hasn't forgotten his contract and he believes that Parker is an evil man doing evil things in his lab and that he deserves to die and he deserves to be paid for it. So he walks up to Parker's door and shoots him dead. Now it's time to celebrate, but will Spider-man ever forgive him? I'm surprised it took this long for someone to pair the two most wise-assed characters in Marvel together for a comic (in both ways) run. This comic is full of riffs and one-liners. The two set each other up and play off each other like a great comedy team. They also fight well together and it's sweet that Deadpool crushes on Spider-man so much and Spider-man doesn't like him all that much in the beginning, as he was the reason he left the Avengers. But after spending some time with him he comes to change his mind about Deadpool. Deadpool killing him, will, of course, change this. This comic also includes a comic with the Vision family adjusting to the suburban life and how something strange is going on in the neighborhood. This comic is everything you could want and more with a cherry on top. I eagerly await the next one.

Hilarity ensues
I'm not a fan of spiderman, and I can only tolerate small amounts of deadpool at a time, yet I loved this book. Basically the plot is that deadpool decreases he wants to be spiderman friend, after an incident in uncanny avengers where spiderman leaves the team over deadpool being a member. This book is hilarious, and is one of the only times I've really found spiderman funny. Each of them gets roughly sequel panel time, so it it really is a good team up story. I'm not sure how long this idea can go on without getting played out, but i would highly recommend this volume.

Perfect team. Perfect Writer. Great art. TAKE MY MONEY
Let me start out by telling you that I am in my late 20's and this was a fun and hilarious read. i have been a huge spidey fan since i was a kid and Pool has been my second favorite. My two favorites finally get what they deserve???!!! I was excited to hear Deadpool would regroup with Joe Kelly. Not only does he nail spider-man and do a great job with modernizing his humor compared to his original run with Deadpool in the 90's, but he makes Pool and spidey a team whos humor and style blend perfectly together. I look forward to reading more and I hope they make this a long run. Give me a spider-man/deadpool omnibus and ill pay you whatever you want ,Marvel.

As a big deadpool fan i was excited to read this story. What this trade brought to be was an interpretation of Deadpool I didnt even know I was missing. The current ongoing main Deadpool title is very good but without realising it i felt it had lost some of its character for "deeper" story plots. This book takes us right back to the Deadpool we all know and love and his relationship with Spiderman is what makes this book so great. They are so oposite but it works and you can't help but feel sorry for deadpool in his desperation to be accepted by his idol Spiderman.

Este dúo es lo más cagado que he leído en un cómic en mucho tiempo. La trama es buena, los chistes muy buenos, los dibujos bien hechos y definitivamente algo que todo fan debe tener.
