Installation was a little more in-depth, but easy enough to accomplish. Silver plastic cover on front of grab bar must be removed in order to access actual hardware required to loosen the grab bar itself. After that, it was an easy job. The part is quality and durable, but just thin enough to adjust/bend if needed.

This is almost the perfect mount. I attached a magnet mount to the surface where clip would attach (I didnt use mic clip/hanger), and its the perfect mount for my Handheld Radio. The only issue I have is the metal is not thick enough and this vibrates while driving.ps. Anyone posting a negative comment about fit, they just installed it incorrectly, it lines up perfectly. Does what I purchased it to do. Soft enough metal to bend it how by you want it but strong enough to stay rigid out on the trails. Held my CB mic without issue while doing some heavy off-roading

It's an easy item to install but it's a horrible fit it doesn't fit correctly I'm assuming they expected to bend as you tighten it down which brings in the risk of cutting your dash it leaves a gap on the side it's installed in reality everything about the design is horrible the photos don't do just on how bad it fit not to mention anything with any weight is going to been this thing my recommendation would be the only buy a high-end one if you're going to use one of these this is definitely temu product
