Very hard
Seems to be a very hard bamboo...harder than the hardwood dowels I buy from Amazon. Some had a slight bend to them. Wish they came in 24-inch lengths so I wouldn't have to cut them.

Perfect size for mini tapestries
Loved the small size of these rods! Perfect value for the price tag, so far they’re all very straight and smooth and I haven’t had any issues with the yarn snagging on them or any warping issues at all. I’m not 100% sure how durable they actually are when hung up since I haven’t hung any up yet, but they appear rather nice in my opinion.
