Biodegradable Natural Kitchen Sponge - Compostable Cellulose and Coconut Walnut Scrubber Sponge (12 Pack)

I've been trying to reduce the amount of plastic I use in the kitchen, and my old synthetic sponges were a big culprit. I'm so happy I found these! They are made from plant-based cellulose and are fully compostable, which is a huge win for me as a gardener here in Connecticut. They are also just great sponges—very absorbent, durable enough for daily dishwashing, and they don't scratch my non-stick pans. A perfect, eco-friendly swap.

Not only do they seem to work better than normal sponges they last 2 or 3 times longer while being the same comfortable size and thickness. The brown scrubbing side works much better than any other sponge I have ever used as they get anything off pots and pans without damaging them or leaving them all scratched off.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been using the same brand of sponges for decades. All of a sudden they seemed cheap and shoddy and they shriveled up before my eyes. I bought a box of these on a whim and, boy, am I glad I did. They are strong, soft, remain looking new and the top doesn't separate from the bottom after several uses. They work beautifully and look great. I will continue to buy these when I run out and I believe you should give them a try, too.

I like that these sponges are naturally made and recyclable. Understandably they do break down faster than commercial plastic sponges but itʻs worth knowing they are one less thing sitting for many years in our landfill. I imagine making these kinds of sponges cost much more than plastic sponges and hopefully I can keep buying them at more than a dollar each.These sponges donʻt scratch my dishes or pans and they are a good size and thickness. They fit my hand nicely and are comfortable to use. They dry quickly and I find them good sponges to use.

I bought these around a month ago. I liked the reviews, I liked that it's made from coconuts. Our other dish sponges only lasted about 3 weeks, and that's really pushing it, before they were falling apart and had a smell, even with cold water rinsing. This one made it a month, and it is beginning to get a smell to it. It's held up nicely, it did a great job and I could probably get another a week or so out of it, but I don't like it when my dish sponges begin to smell. It scrubs very well, too. I do a lot of dishes for my family and I am happy with this product, I will definitely be purchasing them again. I will post pictures of my used coconut sponge next to a new one. The scrubbing part is beginning to come loose at the corners, too, but it's not about to just come off. One corner of the sponge was cut from a knife but it held on until a few days ago.

Great quality sponge and scrubbing surface, easy to rinse out and keep clean, lasts well under daily use, AND most of it is recyclable or even compostable!
