very heavy if loaded with 5 tubes 37ml paint tubes. .
This box barely fit my tripod. It has to be very near the top of the tripod making it difficult to attach the easel properly.,works better with the potash box- which adds weight. The storage is not as helpful as I had hoped and the pallet is small. Have not used this in windy weather so cannot really evaluate it in this respect. It is extremely well made and pretty. The other feature that I am concerned about is that there is no stop for the glass palette which can easily slide out when packing and unpacking a set up. I added a handle. The latch is not as strong as it appears; it bent after first use. Will probably replace it too. I had bought this hoping to reduce my load. It so far had not.

Great plein air product, very cleverly designed. A tad small for my needs.
Brilliantly designed easel. Easy and fast to set up. I wish they had a larger palette / storage area. I'm used to a much larger glass palette that I would take plein air painting, but I was using a hokey, clumsy home-made palette holder. This palette holder is by far a better design, even has the folding-out trays on the side to put brushes and a jar of mineral spirits. But the palette is so tiny compared to what I like, I found it a bit restrictive. My normal palette is like a 14x18", and I tend to paint around that size in plein air, so it was tricky using this smaller size. But if that's not a problem, then this should be fine. The small size does make it quite portable. Also the storage under the palette was a tad shorter than my longest brushes, so I still had to bring my brushes in a separate brush holder. I think if they made a second version of this product as a larger one, I think it would be perfect. I put all my plein air stuff into a larger bag anyway, so the super portability isn't as much of a concern.

Lightweight and Lots of storage space
I love this pochade box. It has plenty of space under the pallet to store paints. (Not quite wide enough for oil paint brushes though.) There are two wings that open to the sides which provide lots of room for setting down brushes, etc. I slide the pallet out a little so I can secure my OMS can just under the painting. Strong, sturdy, and pretty lightweight.

Loose screws
In general, I’m very happy with this supply box. However, when I first used it, I noticed that the left cover sagged when open. It turned out that the screws holding the piano hinge to the box were loose. They could not simply be tightened since the holes eroded. I had to fill the holes and then rescrew the hinge on. This was likely an end of production quality inspection issue.

Nice but heavy
I bought this box for plein air oil painting. It works very well. I put paint tubes and some short brushes in the compartment under the palette. I still take along a paint brush holder for longer brushes and a plastic box to hold other supplies. Attaches well to my Slik tripod. The downside is that it is heavy. I would not try to use it in a backpack. I might replace the glass palette with a piece of Plexiglas to lighten it up. The box fits fine in my rolling cart.

Awesome
Fits great in the Tri pod and easy to put on and off. Holds paint and brushes as expected and the glass pallets is easy to clean although I use it more to hold my brush cleaner than as a palette. I find sienna products to be high quality products. The only issue is the wood looks so nice I hate to get paint in it!

Great paint box.
Well built, very functional supplies box for Plein Air or the studio. Great for watercolors or oils. Would have received more ⭐️ if the attachment to my tripod was a little more accommodating. It's the only area where I see some improvement is needed. The wood bracket don't quite fit, but perhaps some foam rubber could help. However, I am very pleased with this purchase, it's the fourth easel/palette setup I've tried and the best so far.

this box is great. The glass panel is just big enough and ...
Bulky and heavy, but worth its weight. If I hit longer trails in the future, I may use a different setup, but for short hikes, this box is great. The glass panel is just big enough and the efficiency and price of Sienna brand in general beats out that Guerrilla Painter plywood stuff... in particular the paint brush holders are far superior, more versatile and even cheaper.
