I've never owned pepper spray before, but after coming across a video review on the NRA website and watching the YouTube demonstration, I was sold on this product. What initially caught my attention was that POM Industries has been around for over 45 years and that their pepper spray is made in the United States. However, what really convinced me to purchase it was the compact size and the flip-top firing system. The small size means I can keep it in my pocket at all times without even noticing it's there, and the flip-top design gives me peace of mind that I won’t accidentally trigger it when I’m reaching into my pocket.I bought the three-pack because the price was great, and I figured it couldn’t hurt to have a few extras around. According to the product description, it has the maximum strength allowed by law, a 10-12 foot stream range, and can deliver 12 seconds of continuous spray or up to 20 bursts in shorter intervals. I haven’t had the need to use it yet, but I plan to take one of the canisters to an open field to test it out, just so I’m familiar with how it works. The pocket clip version is especially useful since I can clip it to the inside of my shirt pocket for easy and quick access.After doing some research on other pepper sprays, I’m confident I made the right choice with POM. Their 45 years of experience and the fact that it's made in the U.S. were major factors for me. I’ll likely buy a few more to give as holiday stocking stuffers this year because I think this is a must-have for anyone concerned about personal safety. Very handy size.

Perfect size and form factor for every day carry. I have thankfully not had to use it yet but, it is very easy to carry in a pocket with the integrated clip which keeps it clipped inside a pocket for easy deployment with no real concern for accidental activation. The three pack at a good price was the right option to be able to keep them in multiple places to always have one available to grab and go.

Compact and easy to use.

Small size with a functional plastic molded pocket clip. I bought the 3 pack so I could use one as a practice/trainer and have one in my vehicle and one to carry. The activator button is accessible even for those with larger hands. I prefer and was trained to use the thumb to activate OC dispensers, not the pointer/trigger finger. This allows a better grip on the canister and is more accurate. This small unit’s spring loaded safety cap allows me to use my preferred thumb activated grip. The stream is strong and has decent range. This (or any OC unit) is an excellent addition to have when carrying concealed. It gives you a force option when a serious situation has not/ or not yet risen to lethal force.

I was a bar bouncer before becoming a corrections officer. I have more experience using and being exposed to pepper spray than nearly anyone else on this planet. POM is indistinguishable from the very hottest stuff I ever used in a professional setting. The dispenser is reliable and the flip-top safety is secure and easy to get out of the way when you need to use it. Get one for everybody you like.

I buy these for myself, family, and clients. I carry a gun every single day but its nice for a another option, some don't carry a weapon, this is a good hope for buying some time to get away. It's the easiest way to carry woth the pocket/pants/shirt clip.

These are easy to carry and have enough liquid for a couple sprays. In my experience they are accurate but make sure a finger is not overlapping the spray zone. Range and use are exactly as described. Easy to use and designed not to accidentally discharge while being carried.NOTE!!! As with anything like this, it will only be useful if you train/practice how you will use it, and remember you don’t use it to threaten or the person will just rush you. If you need it, you should only be revealing it as you use it, so again, train / practice to ensure you will be able to quickly and accurately draw and use the spray in the intended manner without thinking.
