FANTASTIC, WELL-MADE COMBS!
These combs are phenomenal. Having a thick-haired Maltese makes for tangles galore. Until I purchased these combs. I use the 7" comb on her back hair and the 5" on her underside and on her tail. The combs have a rubber grip where my hand clasps them helping me keep a firm hold as I comb. I appreciate the rounded ends instead of the straight-edged comb I used previously as it's more comfortable for my hand. The tines are spaced perfectly and hair flows freely through them. Hertzko has made what I consider to be a perfect comb. I'm quite pleased with my purchase and consider the price more than reasonable.

Sturdy combs that get through full, thick coat.
So far so good! I’ve been using these combs on a long haired corgi for about a month. They are holding up well. No loose tines. My dog seems to not be bothered by them when I get to the skin. Helps with daily brushing sessions to keep the tangles out. He’s shedding less since I finally have a good sturdy comb to brush him out with.We had used slicker brushes and mat breakers, which work, but not for daily brushing. This comb is great because it ensures he doesn’t have tangles at the skin level. Slicker brushes only get the surface. He’s a double coat dog, and it works great!I use the smaller comb in his armpits and other smaller areas, and the larger one for his back and fluff butt. Will update if any tines start to loosen.

Best dog brush ever!
This comb. is amazing. full stop. I have a Golden Retriever who has super puffy, thick, almost coarse hair. I've tried the furminator brush and a slicker brush, and I always thought that was just the best things were going to be. I'd brush him, and lots of hair would come out, but he'd still be super puffy in areas, and I'd have to go over those areas about 100 times to see any difference. My sister-in-law recommended this Hertzko brush to me, as they'd used it on their Bernese Mountain dogs and loved it. I'll be honest: I thought "Whatever. I'll give it a try, but my dog's hair is just different. Nothing really 'works'." The package game, and timing was interesting because my Golden was in the middle of trying to shed his winter coat so he had this huge puffy undercoat that was ready to be brushed out but nothing really got it out. The first few swipes of this brush, I knew something was a little different (in a good way). After 10 minutes or brushing, my dog looked like he'd just gotten GROOMED and I was calling my husband in disbelief. This brush is, hands down, the best brush I've ever used on a dog. My dog looks and feels different, and it took out that puffy undercoat without causing him any discomfort. I was doubtful... but I was wrong. My other 2 "brushes" went into the trash. I honestly think this Hertzko comb will save me money from having to get my dog groomed so frequently! Wonderful product. (other pictures can be viewed via IG : astorsrufflife

Good combs, easy to hold, strong teeth
Bought these to replace the wonderful comb that came with the clipper set I bought. I lost that comb somewhere in my house and can’t find it! I looked at many other combs and read the reviews before deciding on this set. They are very similar to the other comb although not as heavy. The only mild complaint I have is that the teeth aren’t quite as rounded as my first comb and I was concerned they might feel too rough against my dogs’ skin. The combs do what they’re supposed to, the dogs don’t seem to be bothered and the combs themselves are easy to hold onto. So I would rate them a 4 in terms of my overall satisfaction, using my lost comb as the comparison of 5.

Great Comb Set - Strudy, Well Made and Great Design
We purchased these combs to help with keeping our Bichon Frise looking good between grooming sessions. The long tooth design coupled with the different size spacing makes this combs a great addition to our other combs and brushes. These combs are sturdy and well made. We like the plastic head that allows for easy gripping and handling of these combs. If you have a long haired pet, we recommend purchasing these combs and the Hertzko Dematting Comb for keeping you pet looking great and preventing mats. These combs are competitive priced and a great value for the quality.

Great combs!
I got these combs for my daughters' cat. My daughters are really busy, so I wanted to get them something that would work well since they don't have much time for grooming their cat. They said the combs work really well and helps get a lot of loose fur off their cat.I plan on buying these myself soon for my cat. I have a bunch of combs and brushes for him, but my favorite comb I have currently is the Shed Ninja comb. The teeth on it are starting to get loose, so I will replace it with these combs soon. I thought about getting my daughters the Shed Ninja comb, but after reading reviews I think these combs are better. Once I buy these combs for my cat, I can try to update this review and review these combs better.

A little flimsy...
I have a cocker pup and these combs are a bit flimsy for such a thick coat

Great for long-haired cat
I frequently need to groom a Maine Coon cat that likes to go outdoors and get all sorts of seed heads and grasses caught in his fur. I had been looking for a comb with widely spaced teeth so I could find the problem spots, dislodge the foreign material (if possible) and then continue grooming him. These combs are perfect! If the problem spot (beginning mat or plant material) can't be easily combed out, I can slide the comb teeth between the problem area and the cats skin. That way I know I'll never clip into his skin with the scissors I might need to use to get rid of the problem. When there are no more problem areas, I use the other half of the comb with more closely spaced teeth to remove loose fur. I haven't tried the combs on a short haired cat, but I think the widely spaced comb teeth might be too wide for a short hair. The other half of the comb has more closely spaced teeth and that should work on a short hair.
