Brilliant pack, excellent all rounder, tough and well designed. I have had many packs over the years and this is a winner. Better than an osprey.

It is like the old army A.L.I.C.E. pack used for years but extremely lighter and has molle attachments. A plus is there is no zippers that can bust. I am using it for bushcraft and hiking so it is versatile.

Put on the the pack. Started to tighten the waist belt and the fastener clip exploded. As if the plastic were brittle. I didn't bend over or even put stress on it. Now, I own a lot of Helikon-Tex gear. I pulled out my Foxtrot rig, which I purchased from and Authorized US Helikon-Tek dealer, and have owned for some time. It's a completely different belt buckle clip. Completely different material. (see photo). This might be a broad-brush assumption, but sometimes there are vendors that aren't actually providing authentic products or are not permitted by the manufacturer to sell on this site. I don't know.

While it looks exactly like the picture, this pack is described as being high quality and made from very durable material, it isn't. The pack is paper thin. If you're using it to go around town or to pack in for an airline or car trip, it'll work fine. If you think it's going to hold up for a weekend or week hiking through rough terrain, it won't...
