Osprey Unisex Daylite Backpack (pack of 1)

Great rucksack. We had a bigger osprey rucksack already and really liked it but it was too big for hand luggage, so we wanted to get a smaller one. So far we have used it as hand luggage, day rucksack for hiking, an overnight back and days out exploring while on holiday. Really comfy, pockets on the side are elasticated all the way down which is great and hopefully will mean they don't go top saggy too quickly! Nice to have a couple of outside zip pockets too for things you want easy access and optional waist belt

I have been a loyal Osprey customer for years but only used their bags for backpacking. This was my first Osprey backpack for commuting, and it was so light and comfy that I bought another one for my son to use as his school bag. We are both very pleased! My (fussy!) teenage son loves the pattern and finds the bag the perfect size to fit his school books, water bottle and lunch. Whereas I am really impressed with the quality, ease of cleaning and general robustness of this product. We finally found a bag that we won't have to throw away at the end of the year! The backpack was purchased to replace an old backpack that had seen better days. I have a larger Osprey backpack and have found it to be very comfortable and well made. The new smaller osprey did not disappoint. It has a vented foam back section which is great for hot days and long hikes. The compartments are well designed and carry quite a bit of stuff for a compact backpack. The price was also a deciding factor as it is very good value for a top quality backpack - no hesitation in recommending it to other potential buyers.

This is a well made bag using very light materials with good quality fastenings but it has some issues. Firstly, the back system has been stripped back to aid lightness and breathability, but at the cost of rigidity in all plains. Careful loading gets around this to a great extent. Secondly, also related to the back system, the back offers little protection to the contents, once again it is down to careful packing to aid protection and add to the 'stiffness'. Overall this is a bag suitable for lightweight small capacity day use, it is not for high demand travel.

I bought this for my Hubby for when he heads out on an all day walk with the dog. Although it is small, it is mighty! We have been able to pack 4 x 1litre bottles of water (two in the bag, two in the outer bottle holders) a fleece, and a waterproof in the main section, and then there is still space for snacks, phone and wallet in the front. The design of the bag keeps it away from your back so you don't get all sweaty, and it feels really comfortable to carry. A great back pack.

I purchased this item for use on Day trips however I found it so comfortable and versatile that I now use it as my shopping bag for a quick trip to the shops for up to ten every day items . The Ospreys Day lite is very well made, compact and practical and is very comfortable even when full which I find is redeemable feature especially on a longer day trip. I have used this item for the last six to eight weeks I have found no faults and no negative aspects . You will get what you pay for with this item.

We have several Osprey bags - they are really lovely quality. A lot of care has gone in to their design with padding that is not too bulky as it is shaped to really fit to your body. The bags have nice features - good pockets. Bonus feature that I didn't spot straight away is a built in whistle on the chest strap buckle! The bags are great for cycling with as they are narrow and well shaped, so you don't really think about wearing it.

Perfect day pack. All the things I like! Side pockets, straps to hold jacket, lightweight and very roomy.

Ich bin ein sehr großer Fan von OSPREY. Für meine neue Arbeitsstelle habe ich einen neuen Rucksack gesucht, da ich nun mit dem Fahrrad zur Arbeit fahre. Ich wollte aber keinen sehr großen Rucksack, da es sonst sehr unhandlich wird. Trotz der sehr kleinen Größe und Abmaße des Rucksacks hat man sehr gut Platz. In das kleine Fach kann man gut Kleinigkeiten wie Kopfhörer, Visitenkarten etc. verstauen. Das große Fach reicht super aus für Laptop (13 Zoll), Ladekabel, Trinkflasche, Regenschirm etc. Ich bin sehr begeistert von diesem Rucksack. Er sitzt sehr bequem auf dem Rücken und ist gut belüftet. Auch das Material ist sehr hochwertig und hält gut Wind und Wetter stand (habe auch einen anderen OSPREY Rucksack und der ist unbeschadet seit Jahren). Und zu guter Letzt ist der Preis wirklich super für so eine Qualität.

Excelente mochila para el día a día. El tamaño es perfecto si se quiere cargar solo unas pocas cosas junto con la compu. Suficientes bolsillos internos para cosas pequeñas. Buen material y un bonito color. Me encanta, solo falta probarla en un día de caminata.

I love this pack. It's the perfect size for my regular weekly local hikes. Just enough compartments and the deep side pockets fit my Stanley perfectly.
