I’m really impressed with the Gochange 3-in-1 Foam Cutter! This tool has become my go-to for everything from hobby crafts to detailed foam shaping. My first time to use a foam cutter. I used it to make decor for a spring fling and it was super easy. I highly recommend wearing a heavy duty mask as the fumes were too much. I made four large fence pieces with flowers and also a large butterfly to apply to a balloon arch backdrop. The tool worked perfectly. It is stored back in its box until next time. Happy with this purchase.

Great for small projects. However, it does shut off on me now and then when working on long projects. Directions say it needs to rest every 30 min or so. The temp dial is a bit touchy. It can take a few minutes just to get to the right temp you want. I like that it works for small sculptures, but I will need to purchase something larger for the big sculptures I was hoping to do with it. I will keep this one for small detail carvings.

Although I haven't used it a lot, I am really impressed as to how well it really works. I was able to cut down a common sponge to make an expensive air cleaner for B&S motor. It had to be cut in 3-D but it worked well.

The Good: This foam cutter comes with a voltage controller, so you can adjust the exact temperature of the heated rod. The Bad: Poor quality. The metal rods are cheaply made and bend after the first or second use. Additionally, the plastic sheath for each rod is attached perpendicularly to the direction in which you pull the rod, making the plastic come apart when heated. I tried many different voltage settings, but the foam either melted and clumped, or burned and turned black. I think a good wood-burning kit would be superior to this. Would not recommend. P.S. Mine was missing the top left wire-looking burning piece. I didn't even know it came with the set until I looked back at the website image.

Was very excited to use a hot foam cutting tool as I have used blades and saws before and they can be measy. I wanted to make Halloween Tombstones and Stone Columns. First use was awesome. Cutters heated up fast, cut like butter, and cooled off fast. However, my son was using the straight cutters and turned it up too high and either the wires or cloth mesh inside the tube melted so they wouldn't heat up anymore. I know this because I unassembled them to try to fix the issue. The U/Hook shape and exposed wire cutters still work (used the U in the picture) but I'm unable to find a replacement just for the thin, straight rods. It would be nice if the instructions were clear and/or the dial wouldn't allow the temperature to go up so high that it would break the heating elements. Overall, it's a good product, but be careful not to run it more than 10 watts (or whatever the readout is measured in) so prevent permanent damage to the tips.

Angekommen, ausgepackt, binnen 30 Sekunden zusammengesteckt und angeschlossen. Liegt super in der Hand, keine Vorlaufzeit, ist sofort heiß/einsatzbereit und schneidet mit glattem Schnitt wie Butter durch Schaumstoff und Styropor! Insgesamt macht das Gerät einen absolut wertigen Eindruck. Ein guter Kauf!

Il prodotto funziona bene, è arrivato integro e nei tempi indicati. ottimo per lavori di hobbistica e ferromodellismo.

Appareil génial, régler le voltmètre pour chaque accessoires différents, il fait des formes au top pas toujours droit certes c’est dur de rester stable mais c’est mieux et plus précis que le cutter ou le fer à souder.
