Spiky Slap Bracelets / Slap Bands (3 Pack) - Great Sensory Toys / Fidget Toys - BPA/Phthalate/Latex-Free

I'm always on the lookout for new fidget toys for my 10 yr old that's on the spectrum/has ADHD. He took to these right away and loves them! Successful purchase. It was hard for me to not snag one for myself. 😉

These are very sturdy bracelets that have a pleasant snapping sound putting them on and opening back up.

My son needed something to fidget with will moving around and these were a great option since he could wear them on his wrist.

My son loves the sensory items (touch and feel products) for stimulus throughout the day. I figured these would be nice for something repetitive to do and the spikes were soft. He likes them and they seem durable as some slap bracelets are easy to crack.

Two out of the three have already "broke", within 3 weeks. My child with ASD likes to take the tips and bend them back and forth in a rapid and consecutive pace as one of his stims of choice. However the ends have gotten "stuck". [Wont straiten out which causes upsetness and frustration/melt down] Which stinks because these are hands down the best sensory seekers for us. I would love to replace but I feel as if the durability should be improved for the current price tag :( however, I understand we have unique needs for this type of product though ! So overall if this is a simple slap bracelet for a child, it should work wonderfully and last ! .

We decided to use these bracelets on our son who constantly picks at his nails. We used to wrap each fingernail with 3M Nexcare waterproof bandage tape every morning. Some mornings would be rushed and we would miss a day of wrapping our son's fingernails, and this would be a problem at school as he would be distracted with his nails and would not focus in class. We eventually phased out wrapping his fingernails and have since used these slap on bracelets. I ordered 2 sets (on different occasions) so that I would have them handy around the house. These bracelets have really helped our son! He is not so obsessed with his nails as much when he has his spiky tactile bracelets on. These bracelets have made our mornings much easier than having to spend extra time on cutting bandage strips and then having to wrap each individual finger!

I keep these in my classroom as a fidget option for students. They are easy to spray with cleaner after use. Students prefer these to other fidgets because of the smooth material, the spiked texture, and the fact that they are not loud. They are easy to carry in a backpack and hold under a desk while listening to a lesson. The spikes point outward when in bracelet form. Overall, this has been a favorite in my fidget bin.

My students snatched these up from the Treasure Box! They loved that they were limited items and how they were spiky. I will be purchasing these again!
