These nice thin wicks are for 1 to three inch candles. Bigger candles will drown the wick and form a small hole in the larger candle's wax surface, so you need larger wicks for wider candles.

This is a great starter kit but the wicks are a little flimsy.

Excellent value. Great quality, love the clips. They help hold the wicks in place very well, which I have always struggled with... until now. Good burn quality/speed/thickness/length.

Great candle making products

This is a great starter kit for candle making. Had my own wax and container, but this had everything else I needed.

The wicks burn well. However, the two clips that came to hold the wick in place were not very easy to use. They kept sliding around. The stickers to adhere the wick to the jar also did not have strong enough glue. The first time I tried to use them, they lifted up when I poured wax into the jar. The second time, I poured tiny amounts of wax at a time and let it dry in between, and had better success.
