Fever Fae: Dark Fae Kings, Book 1

Could not finish. I've had some issues with this author and her books, and although I know better I still decided to give this a go, about 8 chapters in I was disappointed once again. I have to ask, why 2 chapters in this girl is hot and getting wet, swinging her hips like some kinda porn star, this same scenario is so old I'm tired of having to read it. The fact that she seems to know all kinds of crazy ways to fight and has guns like some bada****? it doesn't make any sense. All these guys are trying to get her to suck on them, then she beats them up, Come on! She goes to get a job and the guy tells her to strip, and she's the only one he's ever asked and she's like ok? I just stopped, another annoying ridiculous read. I think meg x has great ideas, but she's gotta stop starting her books with heroine who's vag leaks with need and begs to get d***.

The story had promise but it felt like huge chunks of the story and plot were missing to give the story meaning and depth.The main character is worried about something he mentions a handful of times is passing comments but no context is given to the readers. Nothing was provided that would make the readers care about why said main characters act the way they keep talking about. If you can get over the plot holes and just was the smut, there's certainly plenty of that. It's got boy on boy and not on girl to please a diverse readership. However, even in this area the author falls short in a huge way. The build up between the alpha and omega starts off with great tension but drags on until the end of the book with no pay out for the readers who have invested themselves in these characters. And trust me, I'm not one who likes instant love...I love tension. But there is NO ending, it's a cliffhanger. The author strings you along (and the characters) until the end of the book. Sorry but huge issues with plot holes, no world development, no context provided, no character development. A waste of a good concept and characters.

The owner, Rydstrom, is dark and hot and, what do you know - Fae - and known as King of the Night Court.From here the book takes one on a hilariously fun and sultry romp of an adventure. I didn’t quite know what I expected, but I read it in one sitting, it was that entertaining! I loved the panty-melting Fae kings too, especially Rydstrom. There were some absolutely fun scenes that were written so smoothly.Though I’m not a fan of reverse harems, I can’t pass up a fun Fae ride with the kings. Eagerly looking forward to part two!

This book was so unique and I loved it so much! The author did an outstanding job and it lacked nothing! From extremely hot alpha males and even better sex to laughing and then crying because it’s over I loved everything! Fair warning it will make you loose sleep... from the moment I picked it up I couldn’t put it down! If you like anything reverse harem this book is for you! I personally promise it won’t disappoint!!! I am so addicted to it already, I will be doing rereads as I patiently, impatiently, wait for the next book!!!

I like the characters in this book and the story was good. There were just sooooooo many mistakes I kept losing pace and having to re-read sections. It almost feels like you are reading a book translated from another language of written by a non English speaker because common phrases were written incorrectly or around the wrong way. I highlighted so many sections just to report content error. It was disappointing. I really wish authors would edit their books properly.Even though I found the errors annoying and Evie's over-use of the words DUDE and SIBLINGS (KMN) to be distracting from the story, I will be reading book 2. This was my first read by this author and there was enough to like here to give book 2 a chance.

The book is well written and descriptive. I did not like the way Evie treated her siblings. Yes her parents disappeared, but I could not get over the way she spoke to them. She favored the 6 year old Fawn, so I guess at least she treated her well. I understand her conflict at first with Baron and Rowan when they met both men (kings) were jerks. Baron never did apologize but Rowan was sweet. Rydstrom was introduced later as her potential employer and he made her do a strip tease for the job. Later she finds out they are her "mates" I cannot get over is as she meets the "kings" at first, they treat her like a street whore (except for Rowan) and she is drawn to them panting and horny almost losing control to have sex until they are interrupted -- I dont get that. Women have better control then that and Evie proved so in other situations.I feel like the book ended abruptly with the cliffhanger, just as we were getting some answers. There was no romance really, except for the "sex dream" which turned out to be real, with Rydstrom. That didn't make much sense to me because she did not have much interaction with Rydstrom as she did with Baron and Rowan. Im not certain I will read the second book.

Wow! What an amazing book with so many crazy twists and turns! I couldn't put it down! I can't wait to find out what happens next! I loved Evie and I can't decide which Fae King I liked most lol!

Really enjoyed this book. Really can't wait for the next and looking forward to the sexy times! Hope it doesnt take forever!!!!
