SURPRISE, KILL, VANISH Paperback – 2 July 2020

I had good time reading this book. The author was really engaging and did a solid research for this book.

I had bought this book under the assumption that there will be real stories of lot of actions, drama and things which happen on the field. Basically all successful ones.But unfortunately, what I could only find is government sanctions, politics andblot of drama.Got this book after a detailed review, but not too happy after the read. It's decent though. What I expected from this book, it did not bring justice to it.Based on the title, it looked like there will be lot of heroic stories but more than that there are many fail operation stories which I should appreciate the author for making it clear, crisp and transparent.I understand but most of the operation details the author has not shared it for obvious reason but we as a reader want to know about that out of curiosity :) :)IF YOU ARE NEW TO WAR READ, GO FOR OUT. BUT IF U KNOW BRIEF ABOUT HISTORY, WAR ETC. THIS BOOK WONT EXCITE YOU MUCHOVERALL, YOU CAN COMPLETE IT FAST AND IT WONT BORE YOU UNLESS ON CERTAIN TOPICS. I WOULD RATE 3/5.
