Awesome knife!
It is exactly as described, but a much better quality than I expected. My son loves it and now his buddies want one too....directed then to this sight without hesitation!

Super Sharp knife
Used it once so far so I don't know if the sharpness will last. This knife surprised me as to how sharp it is. I used it to fillet a 20 lb King Salmon. It's so sharp that I ended up slicing the skin while separating the filet form the skin. Astatically pleasing with a nice locking holster. Recommended purchase.

Uso del cuchillo
Por la forma resultados cómodo para filetear. No me gusta que pierde rápido el filo

Very Sharp Blade
Be careful! This knife is shave ready out the box. It cuts so easily, it will be several minutes before you even realize you need stitches.

too good!
can't believe I am saying this, but this fillet knife is too sharp. on thinner skinned fish it is very hard to keep from cutting through the skin. typically a fillet blade slides along the skin, smoothly separating nearly all meat from the skin. this one needs extreme finesse to both get the meat and not cut through the skin. maybe I'll dull it up a little and see. otherwise it is a great knife! and yes I have been filleting fish my whole life.

Sharp and flexible!
I really like this filet knife! It's flexible enough for fileting fish and strong enough for deboning a pork shoulder. It is very sharp right out of the box. No touch up needed. It comes with a sharpener that I can keep in my tackle box.I have a 4 inch Rapala filet knife that works well for smaller fish, but this one will handle the larger fish like the flathead catfish I catch on the Coosa River here in Georgia. The interesting thing is that I paid the same price for my 4 inch Rapala that I did for this 9 inch knife! The rubber coated handle on this knife give a good grip and is very comfortable. I like the flexibility of the blade which seems to be a good compromise between strength and flexibility. The only filet knife I have that is more flexible is one I made out of a hacksaw blade that is actually too flexible. The plastic sheath is quite good and will drain well if it gets wet. I also really like the fact that it locks the knife in place when the knife is inserted in the sheath. Nice touch. All things considered, I was very pleased with this knife. I think it is a good buy.
