The SmallRig V-mount Battery Plate works great for my rig. Built well and sturdy, this battery plate fits perfectly onto my camera's 15mm rod system. Batteries fit tight and secure. Super simple, yet fully adjustable, I'd venture so far as to say that the design is elegant...and practical!

Seemed to be broken from the start, and the battery fell out so easily.

build quality is great, decent price for what it's intended for but might end up getting the other one, not sure yet. Just consider first how you want your set up would look like at the functions. Opening and closing the camera screen and so on.
