Works as advertised. It is very bright when illuminated as a full moon. We tend to leave it on a crecent phase for less light as my toddler tries to sleep. I’m not sure why it said there is an automatic 20 minute timer that turns this off, when in manual mode, this thing stays on until you turn it off. Maybe the timer is just for the automated sequence of phases that you can set it to. You can use batteries or purchase a DC power adapter (separately) to power this moon. If you use batteries, you’ll likely burn through them every month. Well with it though as my toddler loves going to bed now with his moon!

I don't know if something is wrong with our lamp or if something is wrong with the design in general, but it's now a $30 pointless piece of plastic hanging on the wall. I had to change the batteries twice in a two week period and then it stopped working all together. After the first battery change I was really careful to turn it off when I went into check on my daughter in the night to make sure that the batteries weren't being drained from too much usage so I know it's not operator misuse. I'm really sad because my son has one like it in his room (slightly different and purchased years ago) and my daughter was so excited to get her own for her room. I would not recommend this product and am really sad to say so.

Quality is lacking. First off it was missing the screw that locks the battery door closed. Okay not a huge deal. After putting new batteries in, it didn't turn on. New batteries in both the remote and the moon itself and still nothing. I then plugged in the moon with a power adapter that I luckily had laying around the house and it worked. Great, except for the fact that the part that you plug the power adapter into fell inside the moon and I couldn't get it out. For the few minutes that it did work the appearance of the light was a 5/10. Not horrible but not great.

Great product and a good value. Has several settings- the dimmest is great as a night light. Nice size. The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t stay on the wall with the included hanging plate and sticky command strip. It fell off the wall the first night with a big crash. I used a picture hanger instead and it works fine- it’s just not quite flush with the wall. This is cheaper than other moon lights and practically the same. Very happy.

Works well, but they did not include the little screws that hold the back flap on (where you insert batteries). Other than that it works well and seems to have a tier to turn it off after so much time. My son loves to watch when he falls asleep. The only other bad thing is the delivery service they used (not UPS or FEDEX) dropped it off at the wrong house and didn't do anything to fix it, after I paid! Luckily, whoever did get it, read my address and returned it to me, but not before opening it to see what was inside.....

Almost perfect for what we wanted it for. We repurposed into a ceiling fixture for our daughter's "Halloween" theme bedroom. I can't comment on the led functions because I only used outer plastic but it is colored and detailed beautifully.

Pretty awesome, takes 4 AA batteries... If you leave it on all night the batteries are pretty much dead the next morning of course. Has a hole on the side to hook it up to a charger, but it doesn't come with one. That's the only thing I don't like about it... Other than that it's pretty awesome.

This is great and serves a fabulous night light for the kids but it doesn’t really darken like one would think. It lights up within with separate lights but the glow on the “dark” sides even then.
