My African Grey Approves!
I've tried a few different parrot foods, but ZuPreem Natural has been the one my African Grey actually sticks with. He’s a bit picky, but he took to this blend pretty easily — no bright colors or weird smells, just clean, natural-looking pellets. I added a sunflowers seed next the pellets so you can get a good idea how big the pallets are.Definitely recommend it if you're looking for something simple, clean, and trusted for a smart bird like an African Grey.

Bird food
I recently purchased the ZuPreem Smart Selects Daily Bird Food for my medium-large parrot, and I have been extremely impressed with the quality and nutritional benefits it provides. The blend is perfectly suited for a variety of bird species, including Conures, Caiques, African Greys, Eclectus, and Small Cockatoos, making it versatile for multi-bird households. The food contains a great mix of pellets and seeds, ensuring that my bird enjoys a balanced diet. The pellets are high-quality and nutritionally complete, which is essential for my bird's health. I particularly appreciate that this food helps support a bird's overall well-being with essential vitamins and minerals. The added seeds provide a nice touch of variety that my parrot enjoys foraging through. One of the things I love about this food is that it’s free from artificial colors or flavors, making it a natural choice for my bird. It is also a convenient option, with a resealable bag that helps maintain freshness. My bird seems to really enjoy it, and I've noticed more consistent energy levels and brighter plumage since switching to this food. The only downside I can think of is that it may be slightly more expensive compared to some other bird foods on the market, but given the quality and the fact that it's nutritionally balanced, it’s well worth the investment. I highly recommend ZuPreem Smart Selects Daily Bird Food for anyone with a medium or large bird. It’s a great choice for providing your feathered friend with a healthy, delicious diet.

Causes rainbow poops. Otherwise not bad.
I am feeding this to a Senegal parrot. She took to it immediately, which was nice -- in the past it's sometimes taken a few tedious weeks to move her over to a new food. This stuff smells like Froot Loops, comes in a handful of different vaguely recognizable fruit-inspired shapes, and is brightly colored. Unfortunately, there are a few problems that arise from that last attribute.First, it gives the bird something to be picky about. I used to feed Premium Daily Diet pellets from Lafeber's, and while it was initially harder to convince her to eat them (to be fair, they look more like those fuel pellets for wood stoves than anything edible), I rarely saw many on the floor. With the FruitBlend pellets, on the other hand, I often come in to find that, e.g., all the purple pieces have been systematically dug out and thrown on the floor. It's not that the bird has any real preference for one color or another; she just seems to pick one at random every now and then.Second, and more importantly, the dyes used to produce all those colors seem to pass right through the bird's system unaltered. In other words, my bird now s***s in all the colors of the rainbow. Besides being a little startling at first, this has turned out to be somewhat of a practical problem. The coloring is mostly concentrated in the stool itself (the solid portion of the "poop"), but once said stool has been deposited, moisture lets the color diffuse out and wick into whatever item of furniture or clothing the bird has chosen to defile. The end result (if you don't act immediately) is a rather un-subtle spot of color, which can grow fairly large if the bird has had a lot to drink. These seem to come out fairly easily in the washing machine, but for items that can't be laundered (e.g. the back of the couch) they take quite a bit of effort to get out completely. Those issues aside, this seems to be a quality product, and I'll probably keep buying ZuPreem in the future, but next time I'll go with one of their less-heavily-dyed flavors.

Bird happy
I have been purchasing this parrot food for years, My blue cheek amazon and African grey like it a lot. It fruty and it does have its vitamins. Don't worry if your parrot doesn't eat it right away. My blue cheek Amazon was only used to seeds. It took me about 2 weeks of patience and he finally came through. now the seeds are only given as treats and this parrot food is what they munch on along with fresh fruits or veggies.

Parrots fav pellets
My green cheek conures fav pellet food. They don’t like the smaller itty bitty pc bags. It has to be these w the bigger pcs. My parrots like them. They seem healthy.
