Preservation Solutions - Wood Juice Quart - Semi Dry Wood Stabilizer

I make hammers and use one of my favorite woods (bloodwood) for the scales. Scales usually overlay another piece of material for tool handles like d10 or a type of metal or steel. The first two times attempting to make these scales, they cracked. After soaking a pre-drilled 1.1"x1.1"x4"x block in the juice and drying for about 36-48 houses so far I haven't experienced any more cracking. Happy with the results but it is expensive.

Used this to preserve some wood coasters and it worked great. The wood has not split or dried out.

As other reviews have said, it arrived leaking through all the packaging. The lid did not arrive screwed on all the way. Messy!

I've used this product before with success, it soaks into wood really well (would be 5 stars for the application, but...). The only issue this time is that 3 of the 4 bottles leaked in shipment (on left in photo- labels came loose from bottles). The bottles are sealed in bags, which helped some but the boxes were still soaked. I ended up a bit short for my project. I wish they had sealed the bottle lids more securely. Three stars for the leaks and aggravation.

Hasn’t worked for me so far. Using on wood under 20 percent moisture. Maybe 3 coats would help but so far I’m not impressed.
