I love glow engines, but I've been spoiled by the ease and reliability of gassers. On-board glow really closes that gap and I now run all of my glow engines (6+) with these. This fairly priced unit works great, is light, easy to set up, and very reliable. I usually only use it for starting, but the low-power mode is great for engines that don't like to idle well and provides extra protection from dead sticks during low rpm flying like landing.

For the English manual just search: rcskylite glow manual Turns out one quick button push is full power for 25sec. Hold button down for 3 sec full power for 25sec then low power mode continuously.

I tried 2, both failed. They both worked initially out of the box, but when I tried it on a model with a Type-F glow plug, the first one failed with the output open. I returned it and ordered a replacement. The second one also worked initially on the test glow plug, but when I hooked it up to the Type-F, the output failed shorted and burned out the glow plug. I went back to the test glow plug and it burned that one up too ($30 worth of glow plugs destroyed). With a meter, I determined that the output was shorted straight to the receiver battery.

Made the mistake of using a LIFE battery that did not meet the voltage requirements. After installing a 2S LIPO battery, it works fine. The instructions are not in English. I have not installed it yet because it's winter.

I have installed the on board glow on my retract channel I have sent sent email to support but no answer and the instruction came in Chinese language.

The remote started get the glow plug glowing bright orange for a quick and efficient start every time. Simple and easy to install. Photo attached is of the starter button installed outside the front cowling.

Make sure the cooling heat sink is exposed to cooling air
