This is the 3rd version I've bought of K.I. You can get the game itself free (But, you'll only get to play as 1 free character each month) If you only have season one Combo Breaker/1st Season (Base version of K.I.) This is a true must have/upgrade You'll get The complete Season 1-3 w/ all extras including The original Arcade ports of Killer Instinct 1+2 (Each game has 1000 Achievements) Plus a hard copy/ psychical CD soundtrack of K.I. which is awesome This is worth the upgrade even if you have season II of Killer Instinct But, only if you can get it on sale for $30.00 or less Then by all means get it Just make sure you have a good amount of space on your HD or a second portable hard drive connected to your XBox One console Takes less then 15minutes to update and store on HD Controls: Balanced with a little learning curve (If you were lucky enough to play the original two games in Arcades You'll understand that statement It's a cross between a button masher fighting game like DOA with elements of Mortal Kombat/Street Fighter The game is much deeper then it's given credit for Audio impressive all around K.I. always had a far Superior large then life sound/music From the over the top announcer screaming to the guitar riffs (It's a true product of the 1990's) Still to this day this is by far the best sounding fighting game on the 8th Generation hardware have a HQ Home Theater hooked to your console and decode in DTS 5.1 10x's better then being in a real Arcade You know the people behind the game understand how good the music is when they add a extra CD soundtrack to this set If you want calm relaxing sound go elsewhere Graphics: Impressive it's a 2D fighting cranked up to 11 The game has had a number of patches and updates and it seems to only get better every patch/update For all the Graphic Wh@res that love to jerk-off to 60FPS and Ultra 4K This game comes close it's stunning and every sec. you play looks fantastic This is one of the best looking exclusive Microsoft games but, Microsoft hardly ever pushes it or even talk about it Shocking! If you have a XBox One S (Then you should have a Ultra HD TV) the game is upconverted and looks 2-5x's better then running on a HD1080p tv I'd go as far as saying this is the best looking fighting game of the Eight Generation Once again if you grew up during the 1980's-1990's you'll fully understand What a massive jump this series has gone from Original Arcade up to this point in 2016/2017 Overall this is a true must have game to add to any collection It's only real negative has been the shady way The studio has allowed various versions to be released This is the version consumers should have gotten from the jump There has been (3) different version in less then 4 years that's beyond shady and crocked But, Publisher and Studios take advantage of Parents and kids all the time That's what this eighth generation has been as a whole A massive con w/ plenty of smoke, mirrors, and lies Like i said before wait until it's on sale for $29.99 or less then jump on it 9/10

The actual discs and code for the special skin was in good condition and unused. The packaging though was definitely damaged, cracks in the case and a small rip in the cover, the plastic was slightly ripped open. Not ideal for an item that’s supposed to be “New”, but not a huge deal. Just swapped it out with a good/fresh case from my extras, was just worried it was a reseal and not actually “New”.

This is a must buy for fighting game fans. I recently got an Xbox One S and I was really looking forward to getting this game. It includes all 3 complete seasons of the game with all the bonus content and a soundtrack disc. The soundtrack disc contains 12 tracks of the best songs from the game. On the actual game disk, if you go to the soundtrack menu, the complete soundtrack is there for you, which has over 30 tracks. They also included the soundtracks for the original Killer Instinct and Killer Instinct 2. The graphics are top notch and the fighting engine is fun and unique. If you are new to fighting games, that ok because there is a great tutorial and even an easy combo setting that will let anyone pull off flashy combos. I also like the special features included in this game which has detailed character bios, concept art, and even all of the trailers ever released for the game and characters. For the price, this amount of content cant be beat. Also the new Shadow Lords mode is a lot of fun and adds a lot of replay value to the game. If you like fighters, give this one a try, they really pulled out all the stops on this edition!

I have been looking forward to this coming out since before it was ever even announced. As a huge killer instinct fan and unfortunatly someone who does not have home internet this package seemed to be made just for me. I have the last physical release of Killer Instinct, so this purchase was mainly to get all the additional content that I can't download due to not having home internet. When I popped the disc in the Xbox everything started to install from the disc including all the DLC characters that I purchased this release specifically for. Well to my huge disappointment when I opened the game after the full install the game would not let me play any dlc characters. I keep getting an error message to "connect to Xbox live". I thought this was a mistake as everything seems to have downloaded from the disc and installed so I deleted everything and tried the download again. Obviously because of my rating it did not work. In my opinion KI is a 5 star game and if you have never owned it before then this is definitely the version to get. However for those of you out there in my same situation steer clear. Edit: So I was able to bring my Xbox to a buddy's house and I connected to Xbox live. After downloading a patch for the game I can now access all fighters, even while being offline. What a joke. This is supposed to be a complete package, but I guess they forgot to make sure the disc actually worked before they shipped it.

The game has amazing graphics, precise controls, a large selection of characters, many unique stages, and a ton of modes. If you enjoy fighting games I would highly recommend. The only drawback I can think of is that while the stages are well done it really doesn’t matter what stage you select as there is no real difference between the stages except the background image. Perhaps I’m spoiled by Smash Bros Ultimate on Switch since the stage can factor into the gameplay outcome. Overall, the game is still excellent and you are able to jump right into the game as there is a simplified control option (set to default so it works right out of the box) that allows you to perform great combinations of fighting moves simply by pressing a button. Friends can easily compete without knowing much about the game and look good while doing it. Do yourself a favor and try this game out.

I have already spent a good amount of money on KI. I got both the Ultra Season 1 pass and Season 2 pass at $39.99 each. With this I have spent over $100.00 on this one game. I keep trying my best to get into this game, but at every turn this has got to be one of the biggest cash grab sell outs ever released. So first it was slightly presented as a free to play or pay for what you want. Get one character or all of them and enjoy. However even after you buy one character try leveling them up enough to unlock everything for that one. That is not really the idea they want to push. Instead they want you to really focus on buying gold to get the outfits. I personally am not going to do that, but they do put it in your face. That in of itself is actually not so bad though. Annoying, but really it is to be expected. No it is completing the story for all the characters from Season 2 and getting into Season 3 and ending up in a mode that currently is offering bonus in game currency. Even with that, you are not getting much in the way of in game currency for Shadow Lords. Instead they have the option to buy items all over the place using gold which you buy with real money. This is even worse if you are one of the people that has bought pretty much every expansion and then this physical copy, because now instead of just being able to go through story mode with all the new characters, you get the amazing cash grab mode which kind of goes against some of the previous story from Season 1 into Season 2. So nothing for the people who have been with it since the beginning. As far as this package being a good deal, well not really. I mean this is kind of like the final bundle package except not everything will work out of the box since you need to download the update that allows everything in it to work. You get to install it all, but for those that got this since they had limited internet access or none, I could see them being a bit upset. The soundtrack is nice and the Gargos once again probably is more interesting to people who have stuck with the game. If this is your first time spending money on it, then this is an okay deal. Just realize that Shadow Lord is seriously pay to win which is really the story mode for Season 3. With many of us who have spent quite a lot of money on this game already though, that is a massive dissapointment in my opinion. I really wanted to be unbiased when it came to this game. Some games you can ignore the money system easily enough, but with this new mode, makes it really difficult. Only way to heal is with items or skipping days and that brings you closer to the boss who has major advantages if you avoid fighting before him or are miss fighting one of his guards of sorts.

Fun and full of nostalgia if you played the originals on SNES or N64. It's nice to have what I consider to be the better, retro skins for Riptor, Cinder and Sabrewulf straight away. Glacius looks cool, but Retro Glacius is cooler (no pun intended). Season One fighter models are great, the music by Mick Gordon is what you expect, Season Two & Three models are a little janky, TJ Combo has a pretty cool Blade costume but Tusk's victory face reminds you that this game is half a decade old. If you like Celldweller and the music he did for the first Crackdown game and need a fix to get you by until they cancel Crackdown 3, he works with Atlas Plug to compose the Season Three soundtrack. For newcomers, there's Combo Assist to help you get by until you learn the combo system a bit better. If you already got the free version, you know that you won't beat Shadow Lords on your first try, it's about as easy XCOM: The Long War. Or XCOM 2 pre-patch. This is assuming you aren't some FGC Fightlord. Oh, and you WILL get bodied in ranked. So if this is your first fighting game, you'll either hate it and swear off all fighting games, or go all in like it was Dark Souls until you git gud or burn out trying. If this isn't your first fighting game, you already know what to expect from ranked in a game that has people who've been playing it religiously for half a decade, so you've brought this on yourself.

Excellent fighting game. Much more fast paced than Mortal Kombat games. The character select screen and menus are VERY slow on the Xbox One though. That's why it gets minus 1 star. Also, it includes ALMOST all of the characters but a couple still have to be purchased.

Great game, killer graphics with all the best characters for your nostalgic delectation!

Cool action is good. It's a satisfying game to pass the time. You can choose from a variety of characters and progress quickly. It's a good game.

■GOOD■ ○まずはグラフィックの美しさ。 キャラクターは勿論、ステージやエフェクトも 手抜き無しで素晴らしいです。 ○コスチューム（頭、体、足）、武器、カラー等、 アンロック要素が豊富。 １キャラクターだけでも かなりの数のコスチュームが有り、 全く違う外見で戦う事も出来る。 ○キャラクター１体１体のデザインが最高に良い。 基本的に化け物が多いのですが、骸骨、軟体モンスター、 ロボ娘、恐竜、ゾンビ、韓国娘、巨大モンスター等 種類が豊富。 レベルを上げて行くとアンロックされる仕様。 または、すぐに欲しい場合は課金してアンロックも可。 ○連続技、コンボの爽快感が抜群。 必殺技から超必殺技、その後に通常攻撃のコンボが 面白い様に流れる様に入る。 ○チュートリアルモードが有る。 ○音楽が素晴らしく、効果音なんかは特に素晴らしい。 知らない格ゲーのサントラなんか要らんと思ってたが、 今となっては付いててくれて本当に嬉しい。 ○存在感抜群のキャラクターが多い。 ○操作性が良い。 ○オプションから必殺技コマンドが全て観れる。 また、システムの細かな説明も表示される。 ○北米版ですが、日本語化されてる。 ○日本人の幽霊キャラクター、HISAKOの存在感。 ○ステージが豊富。 ■BAD■ ×特に無いのですが、強いて言うなら カラーだけは最初から全てアンロック しといて欲しかった。 ■感想■ クオリティーが高くて驚きました。 モータルコンバットみたいな感じかなと 思いましたが、全然違いました。 とにかくキャラクターが こんなに魅力的だとは 思いませんでした。 日本の女性幽霊キャラクター、HISAKOは 素晴らし過ぎて鳥肌が立ちました。 キャラクターカスタマイズで髪型や面を 装備する事が可能なので、また違った HISAKOが観れます。 自分の中では、今まで遊んで来た 格闘ゲームの中ではトップクラス・・・いや、 トップですね。 最近のゲームは自分に合わない物が多かったのですが、 このゲームは全然 別です。 分かり易いシステムと魅力的なキャラクター、 音楽に効果音も一切手抜き無いです。 グラフィックも綺麗ですしバグ等も今の所 有りません。 日本語化もされるので気になってる方は 是非とも購入して見てはいかがでしょうか？ ５０００円以上の価値は有ります。

Great buy!

当初ForzaシリーズとこのKiller Instinctがプレイしたくて購入に踏み切ったXboxOne。 体験版をプレイした印象で当時すでに発売されていた"Killer Instinct コンボブレイカー パック "購入を控えていました。 結論から言うと、体験版ではこのソフトの面白さは全く伝わっていません。個性的なキャラ＆ステージ。遊べるモードも何種類かありますし、アンロック要素もあり遊び甲斐もあり。過去2作品も収録されているのもうれしい。 唯一危惧していた海外版であることの英語表記でしたが、なぜかキャラのセリフも日本語の字幕ありですし、システム面の表示も日本語化されていたのは助かりました(キャラの名前は英語表記なのですがアービターだけはカタカナ表記とかある意味Xboxらしい不思議な日本語化もところどころ見受けられますが) Mortal Kombatシリーズ、 Injustice、そしてこのKiller Instinct。最近の海外の格闘ゲームのクオリティの高さは素晴らしいですね。
