The ducks love it

My fault for not reading the description thoroughly. I had purchased another brand of duck food from Amazon and I assumed the bag sizes would be similar. I thought the food was expensive, even when I believed I would be receiving a larger bag, but when the TINY bag arrived (for $30!!!) I was shocked. Again, my fault for not looking for the number of pounds in the bag. But buyer beware!! This duck food is PRICEY! Especially compared to other brands you can purchase on Amazon. I just wanted duck food to take to the lake so I could feed the ducks with my grandson.

Product arrived but was expired already.

Love observing them and at times feeding wild life. I do research from confirmed sources because I care to know the food is safe for them . That they are thriving and like it a plus!!!

People with good intentions feed the ducks / swans on our lagoon bread or cat food. Bread has no nutritional value & ducks / swans are not carnivores! I'm glad there is a product to properly feed waterfowl.

The ducks did not like it much. I tried feeding them on land and in the water, but the turtles seemed to like it better!

My white canal ducks love this over cracked corn. It floats so there is no waste since they live in the canal and don’t come up in my yard.

We have 2 old male mallards residing around our neighborhood lake. They are at least 10 yrs old and they love this food. It is too expensive to buy very often.

Ich habe dieses Futter extra gekauft, damit ich mit meiner Freundin Enten füttern gehen kann (normales Brot soll man ja nicht nehmen, weil es die Tiere fett macht und im Wasser verschimmelt). Das sensationell tolle an diesem Produkt ist, dass es eben extra für Wasservögel gemacht ist. Einen „kleinen“ Haken hat es aber: sie mögen es nicht! (ich muss zugeben, dass ich es nur an Enten getestet habe - aber was will man sonst damit füttern? Dodos würden es vielleicht noch fressen, die sind aber schon ausgestorben :-/). Wir haben dann selber davon aus Frust ein paar Körner geknabbert und sind nachhause.

Die im nahegelegenen See zusammenströmenden Enten zeigten sich wenig interessiert. Vielleicht waren sie nicht hungrig genug?Ich frage mich allerdings, woran Enten fressbares Futter erkennen. Woran sollen diese Kügelchen erinnern? Riechen sie denn nach etwas?Ich meine fast, dass die modernen Enten ehe auf größere helle Brotbrocken konditioniert sind, wie sie üblicherweise zum Spaßfüttern ins Wasser geworfen werden.NACHTRAG: Bei meinem dritten Versuch waren sie ganz wild drauf und haben sich jedes Kügelchen geschnappt. Die Enten bei den beiden ersten Fütterungen waren wohl zu verwöhnt :-) Also jetzt erst einmal von drei auf vier Sterne.

I bought this to feed the swans and ducks on Lake Zurich and the Limmat river. After a hard winter they need help as they come into the nesting season.The food comes as dry pellets about 5mm in diameter which float on the water surface.I am able to direct the food close to the swans and ducks so they can eat it quickly before the seagulls arrive to steal it.For me this makes the food well worth the price.

Ich habe eigentlich gedacht, ich mache meinen gefiederten Freunden eine besondere Freude. Aber Familie Schwan hat mich nur angepfaucht, weil ich nichts anderen dabei hatte. Die Enten nehmen es lieber, aber auch nicht mit großer Begeisterung. Ein Gänserich war auch nicht gerade begeistert.

Acheté pour donner aux canards, oies et cygnes dans le petit lac du bois de Boulogne. Ils ont adoré ! Ils ont préféré cette nourriture au pain qui est extrêmement nocif pour eux et dont ils sont gavés. Dommage que ce produit soit si cher, un paquet nous a fait deux repas pour eux. Mon fils de 10 ans était super content, les animaux nous ont ensuite suivis pour faire tout le tour du lac !
