THIS JUST WORKS!
I was skeptical at first but, so I bought the small can to test treat both an oil spot and water ring. I have granite countertops and was assured they had been sealed, they were not, at least not with anything that prevented stains.I first tested a water ring just to see if it works on something I would consider "easy" to pull up. Yes, I know it says oil stain remover but I was still curious..... IT WORKED! I waited the 3 days after putting it down, was easy to scrape up and after cleaning the residue, you could not even tell there was a stain there.I then wanted to test on an actual oil stain. The countertops on either side of the stove are fairly stained. I took a small section and put the remaining product on it. This was dry and cracked and ready to come off after two days. I'm assuming that is because there was so much oil in the stone, it pulled it up quickly. SAME RESULT as above, you could immediately tell the stained stone from the stone I just cleaned. As a result, I did the big stain on our kitchen island (prep area) and that now looks like it did when we moved into the house, brand new! I bought their sealer and cleaner as well. I just received 4 more big cans and plan on doing the rest of the counter tops shortly and will try and upload some before and after pictures since I totally forgot to do it for the island until it was too late. When you use for a big area this be sure you properly ventilate your house if doing it inside! The smell is over powering and citrusy. If you are doing some spot removal, it should not be too terrible. The other issue I had was using the proper amount, directions say 1/4" thick, but that does not cover much space. I did stretch it a little bit but I wish they sold bigger cans! I will not downgrade my rating due to these things because it absolutely worked perfectly and soon ALL my granite will look like it did when we first moved in!

Spectacular results!!
My nephew spilled oil based mouth rinse on my brand new granite countertop in my bathroom... I was terrified it was ruined!! One application of this completely removed the oily dark spots! Unbelievable 🤩

... didn't put on at the 1/4 inch depth so better but not gone
worked somewhat--I had a big area so didn't put on at the 1/4 inch depth so better but not gone. Did a second time with a thicker layer and almost gone--they do say that this may require multiple applications. The painter put oil based stain on the stone and then tried to rinse off with water which just made it worse. So a deep stain, but I am confident this will be totally gone which is my goal.. The cost is high but worth it as the marble was brand new.

Didn't work for me!
We left a bottle of vegetable oil sitting for a long time and it had a slow leak. It left some dark spots. Thank goodness the granite design doesn't show since there was no change.
