Summer Breezes Hardcover – January 1, 2006

I was a subscriber to the Grace Chapel Inn series of Guideposts Magazine since the series start. One day, the books abruptly stopped coming with no explanation. I then searched Amazon and discovered this book, which I'd never received from Guideposts. It was wonderful and dealt with the oldest of the three sisters, Louise, who ran the Grace Chapel Inn. It shared bits of her past and many glimpses about the positive aspects of her personality. Lastly, it focused on her and her romance with someone from an adjoining town. If you're a fan of this series, you'll really like this story. I'm just so sorry that the series ended. It was good, wholesome reading that showed the positive side of humanity.

These three sisters seem to have a lot going on in their lives and it makes for a very good read. It holds your interest to the end and you wish it was longer. Each one has her talents and this makes the story interesting. One sister is a good chief, another is a nurse and the last one is a teacher. Look forward to reading more.

I enjoy this series. This book did not disappoint! Baseball and librarys, beautiful mix.

Wished there was a way to read them in sequence. The ones I have been able to find, are a treasure. Characters flow well with the storyline. Great clean stories. Sad that more are not available, so you can continue.

The story is a reminder to all of how even our seemingly small and simple efforts can impact others and ourselves. So often when someone acts poorly towards us , our reaction is to avoid that person and thin k badly about them. What we should be thinking is why they may be acting the way they do. In reality I doubt any person is truly bad or wants to be mean, they just want to be loved.

The Tales from Grace Chapel Inn all amaze me. Summer Breezes is one of the best of the several that I have read. I feel like I am in Acorn Hill and visiting with all of the wonderful characters.

I found this series when I was recuperating from broken hip and was in rehab. I wanted something enjoyable, but not anything risque, violent, or even heart finding. These little novels add easy to read and just the ticket.
