Sauder Carson Forge Armoire, Washington Cherry finish

This was easier to put together than I thought it would be, and it looks great. It was also a great value and Amazon was fast about shipping it. The closet is deep and the drawer is really big. I love the look of the wood because it matches my end tables almost exactly. It took me about 3 hours to put it together, and it was easy to do. I just had to follow the directions and it slowly came together. I put it together by myself, but you may need someone to help lift the furniture off of the floor. It's heavy when put together. I really think that I will enjoy mine for years to come, and I hope you enjoy yours too. Thanks for reading my review.

Nice sized and easy to assemble so long as you follow the instructions to the letter. Sturdy and looks good. Drawer is a little wobbly but it is OK.

Bought this and item was even on sale and still better yet the company is in Ohio.Fast shipping of course cause it was through Amazon.When arrived for some reason time we got ready to put doors on noticed a punch crack in door, not a good thing by this time.So we put the door on anyway thinking we are stuck.Husband did call following day to Sauder Company waiting to be put on hold, run over by the grain truck, you name we was waiting for it, NOPE didn’t happen. Best company to complain to, actually just telling them no explanation was neede, no photo was needed, no return was needed, just our name and address, got the new door perfect condition in couple days. Now try to beat this for great service.The product it self is wonderful in fact better that we was expecting, nice finish, drawers was great, hinges on doors are wonderful so they adjust perfect for this old uneven house floors, no complaints on our part.They get a 5 star for their service department too. But for a you put it together piece of furniture they certainly get a 5 star too, I even gave my husband 5 stars for putting it together, he said it was pretty simple to do.As soon as I can figure out how to use another one with inserts for storage and not hangers I’m getting another one, I really like this easy to assemble very decent looking piece of furniture, at least in our case we did not go wrong and the Sauder Company did not go wrong in their service department.

Not as sturdy as I would have liked for the price. One door does not line up with the other, which is slightly frustrating with my OCD. Kind of hard to assemble as the instructions are not very clear. If it was more sturdy, it would be a very good buy.

I ordered this armoire to store my work clothes and pants. it looks nice on the picture and after assembling but I notice that the armoire kept shaking from side to side everytime that I placed items in it. I had my brothers to try to tighten anything that seems lose so they did. we did a test shake afterwards and it kept moving. I am truly afraid that this armoire will fall apart from daily use. PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT! IT'S NOT WORTH THE MONEY

All Sauder products are excellent quality,easy to assemble with the best assembly instructions ever, and their customer service is the best. I highly recommend all of their products.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS VERY POOR, ALL DETAIL VIEWS WERE DIFFICULT OR NOT CLEAR TO UNDERSTAND. QUALITY IS UNACCEPTABLE, IT WORKS BUT THAT IS ALL. THE FINISH IS ONLY PRINTED PAPER COVERING PRESS BOARD. I HAD TO ADD SUPPORT TO KEEP IT STABLE. I WORKED AS MECHANICAL DRAFTER/DESIGNER AND HELPED WITH SOME OF THE MANUALS.

First off the good stuff. The product is sturdy, solid and well crafted. Instructions were by-and-large clear and easy to follow (but see below). The hardware was packaged in such a way as to make finding the proper piece for each step quite easy. Once assembled it looks nice, indeed just like the photos, and there is little complain on that score.There are a couple of things to be aware of, however. None of them would warrant not purchasing this item but just things you should know going into this project.1st.In our experience, it takes two people to assemble and move this unit during the assembling process.2d. The instructions illustrations can be a bit tricky and at one point we missed a crucial part of a step which resulted in our putting the shelf in backwards. By the time we discovered this it was too late to go back and so we had to improvise. Just pay special attention to which direction the cam side of the shelf is facing and you'll do fine.3d. This took us about five hours to put together. Granted, we're not used to doing this sort of thing so if you're handy with a screwdriver and used to putting pieces of furniture together it might go quicker. Just be aware of the time it took us.
