NCAA Garden Flag Pole

Very sturdy...good product

I did not care too much for this product. The top bar is NOT long enough to support your average team flag/pennant, which rendered it pretty much useless. Make sure you check out the dimensions before you buy it. The product description says that it supports B.S.I. Product's garden flags, but I did not know what that was. After I bought the pole and realized that my banners were too big, I looked this up and B.S.I. garden flags seem to be 13"x18", which is fairly small. My banners are around 24"x36". So the only way to use this pole was to fashion a top bar. I actually used a windshield wiper plastic container that the wiper blades came in and it did work. I slid it over the metal bar that came with the product. I had to duct tape this into place. If the top bar was long enough to support my banners, I would have probably rated this product a 3 or 4. I also had to duct tape the top bar to the support pole so the wind would not blow the banner around so it was not facing in the correct direction. I also had to duct tape the bottom of the banner to the support pole so it would stay in place. It does get pretty breezy where I live and I did not like the banner constantly blowing around so you could not see it. So this was just too much work to get it to be effective for me. I did it because I did not want to wste the money and surely did not want to pay to return the item. It does stick in the ground nicely.

Great flag pole for my flag. Was glad this pole was advertised with the flag so I knew what size to buy. I will be buying more of these in the future.

This product states on the packaging that it is "easy to assemble". The packaging does not include directions for assembly but we were easily able to figure out how it should all fit together. The problem was in actually executing the assembly. The flag pole is height adjustable, and comes packaged with the slimmer pole inside the slightly thicker pole, with a few inches of the slimmer pole sticking out. Hence, the slimmer pole is supposed to slide up out of the thicker pole and then somehow be able to lock where you want it. There was only one problem...we could not get the two poles separated! Luckily we had a house full of football fans up for the challenge! Woman after woman and man after man used tool after tool but no one could separate the poles. When it seemed like we would finally have to accept defeat, one man finally got the poles separated (a good omen for our game later that day!). We had to use pliers to crimp the poles together when we got them to the preferred height. Also, the top arm that holds the flag does not fit securely into the pole. It is very loose and the arm droops a little, making more of an 80 degree angle rather than 90 degrees. We had to bend the arm to make it look right. After a lot of elbow grease our flag was finally up and flying, but unfortunately we will not be able to take the pieces apart for storage. This is a cheaply made product and I would definitely not purchase another one.

I read some mixed reviews of this flag pole, but it was really very simple to put together and it works perfectly for my flag. It did not come with instructions, but I don't feel that they were really needed. Great product!

These flags are great! I've purchased several as a spare and for family members. Dennis from Kennedy RPM Flags was quick with delivery and very friendly! I HIGHLY recommend them and these flags!

I think that I am pretty handy and that this should have been easy to just fit together, well it didn't. I thought I might be doing something wrong, but because there are no instructions there was nothing to follow. I actually had to put it in my vice to straighten it out a little to get it to go together. It was like something was wrong in the manufacturing process with the one they sent me. I would recommend a different flag pole.

I don't write a lot of reviews. This product is almost an embarrassment. The product is not sturdy. I feel like you need to glue pieces together for it to work properly. The "3 easy pieces" do not fit together correctly. If you read the reviews, it looks to be a common theme. It was an suggested item, so I went with it without looking into it. Really disappointed in this item.
