for G29. it's tuckable, slim fit, has an off-set clip position and easy to conceal my Glock 29
first impressions: very well made and thought out design. fits snug to pants but shines best with a quality gun belt. the strong metal clip is coated with a very durable matte finish. and it locks in the gun snuggly and the user must be deliberate when removing the firearm. don't worry though, before you do that you can clear your weapon prior to taking your Glock out of its holster. PROs -slim fit (slimer than my leather holster/bersa AWIB combo) -tuckable: very easy to conceal a glock 29 at weddings, work, or church. [check your local laws about carrying in a church] -strong in all aspects -keeps handgun where you conceal it. minimal shifting but easy to adjust if printing occurs. -very safe if you have the correct model and not defective -can clear the firearm prior to exposing the trigger. -must use force to remove firearm from holster (P.S.A. if you dont have to use force to remove your handgun or it has major slop while in this holster than i advise you to immediately return it and contact the manufacturer and get an exchange) CONs -uncomfortable when holster is empty -doubt i can run it over with a truck -long term use may result in slop - wanting to buy a spare just incase; is that a con? - no padding? thats not the intended design so half of a con there. - its so cool i sleep with it in my PJs overall its a fantastic holster and the people who are looking for something that provides fantastic concealment than you will be able to live with out the added padding. its actually more comfortable than my PPK leather holster, less bulky and more secure. just be sure to remember that yes its comfortable but only for a short while when the firearm is removed. ill buy it again just incase.

Very secure and small profile
First off I will say this holster fits tight and holds your weapon very securely. I've found it to be as comfortable as soft holsters and is very concealable. The clip is super secure and I've tried it with and without a belt. I don't have any trouble drawing or holstering my Glock 19 gen4. The only con I have with it is it's very hard to remove the holster from your clothing. I get why the clip is so tight, because you have to give your pistol a good pull to remove it from the holster which I like, it's not going anywhere by accident. But it digs into your clothing and if you look closely it has a little tooth in the center to dig in and get a good bite lol. To remove this holster from some clothes I have to remove the pistol and pry the clip open with my fingers to clear that tooth so it can come free. I'm going to probably be modifying mine so I'm not ripping material when trying to take this off. Otherwise I really like it and the fact that it complete covers the trigger for a little added security if you like to carry chambered. It's an excellent holster and I would recommend it but maybe not so much for your dress pants or softer materials.

Four out of five stars
I really like minimalist holsters because I prefer a double stack subcompact to the micro 9 single stacks that are flooding the market. The double stacks fit in my hands better and I shoot them much better. With this being said, a standard iwb holster with a chunky subcompact can make your carry piece feel more like a compact of full size. This is why I prefer a minimalist holster with my chunky subs. This holster rides well can be positioned just about anywhere and the clip can be moved to the opposite side. My old grip is the retention on this holster is insane. This may be by design, as this would stop your firearm from falling out but this also makes it harder to draw. I typically carry in sweats and running shorts so I like something that doesn't make my carry choice feel too bulky and also something that I can draw without giving myself a front wedgie. I've have this holster for almost a year now and the retention has not gotten any looser. Overall good holster, I want to give it five stars but the retention makes me constantly have to be aware of the holster I'm wearing so I give it four stars for this.

Initially unsure about this holster, my concerns have been quelled. Now a lifelong customer.
TL;DR if you want a durable, comfortable, minimalist holster for AIWB or general IWB with excellent retention of the firearm and a design that prevents shifting of the holster on your waistband your money is well spent with the Q Series. The founder, Gary, demonstrated a great level of service to his customers and has crafted an excellent holster. 5/5 will be back. I bought this holster looking for a minimalist holster for my Glock 48. Although it's advertising and intended use is as an AIWB holster, I use it for strong side 3 o'clock carry. This holster is AWESOME. The polymer used in the holster is very tough and the clip's design, with a very small opening and generously sized loop, holds onto your pants like a vice while not tearing it to shreds. Initially I had reservations about this holster, after I received it I noted there was a fair amount of play; I could move the holster around the trigger guard. I was going to return it to Amazon but I thought I should reach out to Q Series CS first to see if we could come to a different solution. The President of the company, Gary, responded. He asked for video of the 'issue' which I provided, and after viewing it explained that the holster was designed with play as previous iterations had so much retention that they had made drawing your firearm next to impossible. He assured me it was secure. I told him I'd take it on a test, that being a 2 mile run. If my Glock 48 fell out I'd send the holster back and if it stayed put I'd keep evaluating it. After 6 total miles running with this holster I can attest that it is extremely comfortable and that the retention is perfect. My initial impressions, while not entirely unreasonable, were proven wrong as this holster has proven itself a reliable means of concealing my firearm even during high activity. Gary and CJ (the representative who first answered my claim), have been extremely patient and kind. I truly value their excellent service and they have created a loyal, lifetime customer.

Great gun lock, not holster
Got this on Amazon. I have 2 other similar problems that work great but thought I would give Q-series a try for my M&P Shield (not an EZ). Q-series fit nicely on the gun, trigger fully protected and the fit for appendix carry is nice. I go to draw my empty gun and it just pulls my pants up. Gun stays lock in the Q-series. I remove all from my waistband and re-read the instructions, no help. I rock the gun forward with left hand while holding holster with right and it finally comes out. Re-insert and with both hands I pull in opposite directions to mimic drawing straight up. The amount of force to draw the gun is way more than is needed to be functional. It’s so secure, it’s useless. I come to the website and go to FAQ, FAQ gives me a drop down but there are no choices. Instructions say type question. I type “draw gun” and it comes back with “No information”. I type 5-6 more questions; one word and full sentences and never got any different results. There are no FAQs. There is no contact information. It will be returned to Amazon and I will get a brand that works.

Utilitarian - Functional and Practical
This holster fits my needs for a S&W Shield 9mm. Extremely covert, even with tighter fitting T-shirts. It stays in place, even during jogging; does not fall out of holster. Built for concealment, not comfort, and is what I needed. Before purchasing this holster, you need to understand what this holster is and isn't. It's a very simple holster based on the sole purpose of concealment. It's NOT for someone requiring comfort over practical needs. It's NOT eye-candy. It requires someone that knows how to properly grip and unholster with a fast, hard pull - casual/sloppy/lazy people might have an issue. At first, the holster will seem way too tight (b/c it is). Leaving the firearm in the holster will relax the plastic over time and allow smoother, easier draws. You will need to practice with this holster and allow the plastic to conform to the firearm - I do not recommend using this holster as soon as you receive it. (One thing I did was to leave the firearm slightly out-of-seat in the holster for a 24 hour period, in a way that forced the sides of the holster outwards. The sides of the holster needed to expand some. With the (slightly) expanded plastic, it allowed a much easier pull. But be careful and do so at your own risk - you don't want to over-expand. It's better to have too tight retention than too loose. A solid, firm grip goes a long way with this holster.)

Great holster for CCW as long as your holster has proper firearm retention
I've got to say, I pretty much knew that this is one of the holsters I just NEEDED to own one of. The reviews on Amazon, as well as my suspicions about it's quality due to having looked at the competition of Q-Series, were 100% correct. This is a MUST OWN holster for anyone wanting a minimal, bare bones, ultra secure, low profile AIWB / IWB option and, while I've only been wearing it around the house now for an hour or two, im happy to say that it has moved into the number 1 spot for AIWB carry, that is, when I carry pistol only. (I have a Radial Innovations Coreflex rig on the way to me which integrates a spare magazine into the rig that I'll have on Monday or so that will likely be my primary, or secondary to this holster, in my AIWB rotation....so, I won't know until it arrives). That said, YES! **THIS** holster is up there with the big boys in my arsenal of holsters and that, in itself, is HUGE. My Glock 43X, longer grip included, simply disappears using the Q-Series Stealth! Imoressive......! I have a Michael MIC Kydex trigger guard with tether that I used a lot up until today, as ANY holster that eliminates the thickness and material of the normal holster body will AUTOMATICALLY make it much easier to conceal a firearm....but THIS holster actually has a properly strong and versatile clip (**tuckable**, no less!) so that strong physical activity isn't an issue like it is with the MIC.... In other words, it's not just a gun being held in by your belt tension but rather a CLIP that is attaching to your belt, giving it all of the benefits of the MIC without the security downsides of it. All in all, a FANTASTIC holster option for ANY pistol for those who like to keep it simple but still need a holster they can TRUST. With this holster, rarely would there be any time to blame your attire for the day on why you didn't carry your firearm..... Just throw it in your Q-Series Stealth and get it going! UPDATED REVIEW AFTER A COUPLE OF WEEKS:. Ended up returning this, as the retention on my Glock 43X went to almost zero with no easy way to fix it. If it just had more retention (Kydex retention to my Glock trigger guard, I presume) then I wouldn't feel unsafe using the holster and would have kept it, as I LOVE the holster aside from that (big) issue.
