Decent overview
Nick Jelley's short book looks at the costs and benefits of pushing further in the direction of renewable energy, solar power, wind power, wave, nuclear, battery storage, and so on and so forth. He discusses -- appropriately -- the costs of using renewable energy technology, and how those costs have become competitive (in his view) with traditional forms of energy production. Yes, he admits that the development of renewable energy technologies has required large investments and also subsidies, but he argues the case for further subsidization is waning.
