I guess I'm really into 'preppie' stuff but I think this is great to be able to charge your bright/dimmer/emergency flashing light different ways.....via USB or by solar, and just charge that rechargeable battery as many times and in different ways as needed. And, I just charged it a year ago and it's as bright as it was way back then. Nice. Durable and comes with an emergency 'pick' to break a window if necessary in a sinking car....if that's the emergency. A nice preppy flashlight, I must admit. And also has a magnet and can even open a letter/box and has a great grip too.

Best flashlight for your house/car and especially law enforcement/EMS. It is solar powered. It's compact size makes it easier to carry. Brightness:Very bright

This product is amazing. it's so bright its like turning the sun on, It lights up the entire yard at night. charges super easy, just lay it in a window sill. I have actually charged a phone with it during a power outtage. Loved it so much, I ordered another one and it was just as perfect. been over a year since the first one and both still working great

This is a solid built flashlight; it has easy to use light settings for regular lighting, spotlight, emergency red light and hands-free (with the included magnet) light; for using the compass, the compass cap has to be completely removed from the flashlight, as the battery inside the flashlight as well as the metal casing cause the compass to point to inaccurate direction. It’s a bit on the heavy side for a small flashlight, but it feels durable; it comes with a small half a plastic ring which protects the power button from being accidentally powered on; the ring reads, “Remove before use”; you must remove the half ring in order to power on the flashlight, but ‘do not’ discard the plastic half-ring; like I mentioned above, it prevents the flashlight from being accidentally turned on if it is left in a backpack, and the power button is pushed by accident; that will deplete the battery. It also has the seatbelt cutter and a glass braking hammer; it includes a small USB cable, which can be used to recharge the flashlight via computer USB, or it can be used to recharge a cellphone or other small USB C electronics. Overall the flashlight is great for the price; the illumination is very good as it is the conveniences I mentioned above; this is a very helpful tool in case of emergencies, like during/after hurricanes, snow storms and the like.

I have three of these. I love them. The only issue I have is that you can't tell when the battery is low.

I keep mine in the kitchen window for quick grab if needed. Have several for a longer outage.

We purchased several of these for our cars about 5 or 6 years ago. Gave 2 away and kept 3, one for walking the dog at night and one for each of our cars. The one we use nearly every day finally died a couple of months ago. It wouldn't keep a charge. So we got about 5 years of life out of it. The other two continue to work perfectly. Our recent purchase was to replace the one that died and for Christmas stocking stuffers for our family.
