Programmable 30V/10A DC Power Supply Variable, Adjustable Switching Regulated Power Supply with PC Software, USB Interface, RS485 Interface, Support Modbus Communication Protocol

I've owned this for about a year and a half, with very little use. Noticed today that while using the adjustment knob, the display would skip around instead of going to the next number. It's a Quadrature Encoder Rotary knob. I don't know if it's just dust or a bad encoder

Just received this unit and immediately opened. The DC Power Supply is a nice unit but the USB cable included should be USB Type B and what was shipped is just a USB extension cable. The voltage calibration is off by 10 to 20 mV +- depending on voltage level. Included with the unit was a new USB memory stick which included software to communicate with the DC Power Supply. Upon mounting the USB Memory Stick, Windows 10 detected VirusWin32/Virut.BN virus in several files. Virus creates a back door so a malicious user can take control of the system. Immediately removed USB from system without incident.

I bought and returned this twice before moving to a different supply. The first was dead out of the box with no visible indicators. The second allowed me to set voltage and current but never produced an output. I loaded their software and was able to talk to the supply, but it was a pretty clunky interface. Don't but this supply!!
