Great quality and perfect fit
I bought this Viotti 4/4 violin bridge and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The wood feels solid, the cut is clean, and it only needed a small adjustment to fit perfectly on my instrument. The sound improved noticeably—clearer, stronger, and more balanced. It’s not a high-end bridge, but for the price it performs extremely well. Perfect for students or for replacing an old bridge without spending too much. I would definitely buy it again.

Perfect fit
Does the job it's supposed to do. Sits flush on the body of the violin. Good string distance and height. Sound is good. Even better on a good violin.

Measure first
At the end of the fingerboard near the bridge, ideally, your G string should be ~5mm and E string should be ~3mm. Measure accordingly and if you're with 2mm of that tolerance then with some sandpaper you can easily make this work. I was more like 6mm off and still bought it realizing I was going to need to do a lot more than just simple sanding. I ended up taking as much as I could off the feet with sandpaper and then like 5mm off the top with an electric saw... probably should've taken it to the luthier down the street that only charges like $35, which is insanely cheap. You're lucky to find someone that will fit a new bridge under $100. Anyway, it worked out ok. Sounds fine. Tolerances seem ok. Not optimal, I'm sure, but easier than shaving down a completely blank one. I already have the bridge shaping measurement tool and I also used some files to notch for the strings. So, should you buy? Yes, if you measure and it fits, and yes, if you're slightly handy and can make it fit regardless, otherwise you'll regret your purchase.

Sounds so much better.

Bridge installed backward.
They installed the bridge backward. The ebony wedge is there to support the E string not the G string. The E string is the smallest string with the highest pressure. That's the string that needs the hd hard ebony wedge.

I recently had an accident with the bridge of my violin whilst attempting to fit and tune new strings. I ordered this pre-cut violin bridge and found it was very convenient as a replacement for the previous bridge, as I live in a regional town that is not close to the usual luthier who I occasionally visit (who is located in a major city in my country). I was able to install the new bridge with new strings on my violin, and tune the new strings, by myself (photo id below)
