Is the "i13x co" a good cooler for a dell xps 8940 with an i7 11700 (non k)?

Didn’t work for my XPS 8930 THE hardware wasn’t correct

Just mounted but fan on wrong side. Am I able to unclip fan and put on other side of the heatsink?

not think possible as shroud of integrated fan only fit one side. Best to remount 180 degrees....make sure to tighten all the way for best thermals....and if careful, not need to change thermal paste that was preapplied. Cheers Wise Lion

Hi, is the arctic freezer i13 x compatible with the socket lga 1700? or is it necessary to buy a mounting kit separately?

At the time of this posted answer (2/22/2022), this cooler does not have an LGA 1700 bracket set bundled. You will need to either contact Arctic and ask them to send you one for free, or search for the kit online. I know Arctic has an online store which supplies this kit, but you might be able to get it on Amazon, NewEgg, or EBay. It's less than $10 US.
