Not what was expecting
Thought I bought the novel

Powerful
An amazing, life changing story that was painful. But redeeming God’s grace was evident and so inspirational. Words are hard to put together to describe the feelings evoked. I cried many times, especially at the beginning because it was so painful, the treatment Angel endured and the broken person she was inside. So defensive and pulling into what she knew. Michael also broke my heart because he was trying to do what God wanted him to do and she kept rejecting him. Powerful, riveting, heartbreaking and redeeming. God's grace and mercy cannot be denied and we should always remember that..

Excellent book!
I shared working through this study guide with a friend and it lead to both some lively and "deep thought" conversations. A must to go with the original story. Any woman who has been abused sexually and/or physically should read this book. Highly recommend.
