Warmish towels from an underwhelming warmer
Since most of these types of items has 3.5 stars (even the $400 ones) I thought I'd take a chance with it. My overall thought: Meh.I took the advice of another review and covered the towels with a third and it did warm them up, but even that didn't get them "toasty" it describes. Fiddling with the third towel on top to retrieve the warm ones underneath cooled everything down and nullified the whole point of the thing. The bars do take about 30-40 minutes to warm up to the point of distributing heat through the cloth, so that's another "meh" mark from me. I've stayed at beach houses that have awesome ones, but I'm disappointed by this one.Aside from not being overwhelmed by it, folks asked if it will hold two towels. We have pretty standard towels (30x58 towels in the picture) and hanging them side by side folded in half wasn't possible without scrunching them together (I'm sorry if the picture is sideways - for some reason Amazon seems to do that with iphone pics). I had intended to wall mount it after first trying it out with the feet, but if you add the wall mount brackets it actually takes up space on the "rungs" and makes that space issue even worse. The whole thing feels flimsy and I kept thinking I was going to bend it or the feet or the bars. The promise to "Envelop your body in toasty warm towels" won't happen with this thing. Instead of "[giving my] home a touch of lavish indulgence" I gave it a cheap, aluminum, lukewarm towel ladder. I'm sending it back.

Still working great after two years, just bought another one for my parents
I used to have a $2000 range wired and attached towel heater and fell in love with it. I had to move to an apartment and 'made do' with this much simpler plug in model... Have since moved to a house again and am still using the 'made do' towel warmer because it works so great, nearly as well as the $2000 model I used to have. It's been on nonstop for 2 years now with nothing but warm dry towels to show for it. My wife and I both use it with giant very thick towels and often shower multiple times a day and it keeps them dry and warm. I just bought a second unit for my elderly parents to enjoy.

Not exactly a hot steamy towel, but a great tool if your bathroom stays damp
This towel warmer was about what I expected. It fits perfectly in an odd space between my shower and sink. Like other reviewers, I find that only the parts of the towel touching the rails actually warm up effectively. You sort of have to weave a single towel in and out of the bars to make this happen. I usually shower at night and put the towel on the warmer afterward. I'm nervous about leaving it on all day while I'm out of the house, so I turn it off in the morning. Then I always forget to turn it back on at night before my shower, so I haven't enjoyed a warm towel as much as I'd hoped. I have, however, found this to be a great tool in reducing moisture and mildew. My house stays damp in the summer, and having two towels on one rack was a recipe for mildew. This way my towel always dries out (and my hubby's towel can also dry since he has the rack to himself). It's not a perfect item, but I'm glad I have it.

Pointless waste of money
This thing is pointless... It's not even a good towel rack. After leaving a towel on the rack for 45 minutes, woven in and out through the bars, all I got was a towel with two or three lukewarm spots that weren't even that by the time I unraveled it from the rack. All I got was a wet spot on the floor where I was standing while trying to figure out how to get my towel so I could dry. Not worth wasting any money on.

Exactly as advertised
We bought 2 of these. They work fine, exactly as expected. I noted some reviewers mentioned towels don't come off the rack as warm as desired. I guess they were expecting something hotter (like a heater) that would warm up and dry out towels fast. This rack does get pretty warm, it will dry out your towels but it takes a few hours to do so (overnight or all afternoon will do it). Also the unit looks good and is light and very easy to assemble. I haven't mounted one on the wall yet but the mounting brackets and screws were included and it looks to be a simple job if we ever want to do that.

Not great
You get what you pay for. We’ve let our towels hang on it for over an hour, before we showered, and the only place the towel gets warmish, is where it was touching the rung. And if you use a bigger, thicker bath towel, forget it! You can really only put one towel on it at a time. You will need to fold your towel several times, and then hang it, (if you want to put more than one on the rack.) Otherwise, part of the 2nd towel will lay on the floor. And.. Folding it doesn’t help get the whole thing warm, it’s still only a little warm where it was actually touching the rung. We will be returning.

Happy with warm towels.
We've been using this heated towel bar for a few weeks now and it does the job. Much shorter than I anticipated and it really doesn't hold more than 2-3 big towels well since they drag on the ground (we can't install it on our walls). But we now have dry warm towels after having weeks with wet cold ones due to poor insulation in our bathroom.

great for drying towels
I bought this to dry my towels faster. It does that just fine. The negative reviews regarding the warmth of the towel confuse me; do people expect it to make your towel hot? The unit can't get too hot for safety reasons. The towels are warm enough for me anyway. And for the price this is a great deal.

Perfect for our needs
Perfect for our needs. Comfortably holds two folded bath towels. Dry, fresh towels in the very cold months. No more damp, stale-smelling towels. A bathroom dream come true! Connected to a timer, it works beautifully.

Towel warmer
It seems like a good product for what you pay.
