It Works Perfectly Between Sky Box and Samsung TV
I recently purchased a Samsung 50" QN90B Neo QLED 4K HDR Smart TV. I set up a Sky box with the new TV and to my disappointment the picture was awful and nothing like the showroom display I had seen. I configured the picture correctly but still no luck. A neighbour suggested that it may be my HDMI cable which was about 13 years old. After some research, I purchased the KabelDirekt 8K HDMI 2.1 cable. Oh boy, the difference was immediate. The picture is so much clearer and sharp. The colour rendering is vivid without being unreal and human faces look real without looking plastic. 4K is perfect and renders precisely how it should look. It's a very durable HDMI cable and well-built. My only gripe is that it is not very flexible and is quite stiff, however, the picture quality is worth it and in this case, speaks a thousand words. For me, this is how cables should be, it is worth paying for good quality. This is a solid-made HDMI cable. One of my favourite and most useful buys so far in 2023.

Potentially Not A Certified Cable
I bought this cable to solve the issue of audio drop outs when using ARC to send audio from my LG B7 to my ONKYO AV reciever, I found that only the HDMI 2.1 cable that came with my Xbox Series X seemed to fix this audio drop out issue so I thought surely a certified HDMI 2.1 cable would be a great subsitute so my Xbox can get it's cable back? Unfortunately not, it hasn't fixed the issue so the Xbox has to live without it's cable so I can continue to use my AV receiver.I originally put this down to this cable being 3m where as my Xbox cable is 2m, but thought I'd confirm that this cable is indeed certifed by HDMI before settling on this. The genius who sent this cable to me put the postage sticker over the top of the HDMI certification sticker but I managed to peel it off without damaging the HDMI sticker, when it was finally time to scan the sticker with the HDMI certification app all I got was an error message once it had finished scanning the sticker, I've tried many times now but always the same result. I know these kinds of apps can be a bit flakey but it seems to scan the sticker fine, I just don't get the result I'm expecting.I am currently using this cable to connect my Xbox Series X to my LG OLED and there are no issues there but as my TV does not have a HDMI 2.1 port I cannot comment on the effetiveness of 120hz gaming etc, I'm just a little cheesed that the cable might not actually be certified as that why I paid the extra money for it...

I have had several of these fail for even HD, do not buy under any circumstances
After many many many hours of troubleshooting, when my professional calibrator specifically repeated that it could not be the cable, I have found these cables to be the culprit. Either not handshaking or mot sending HDR metadata. These simply are not what they claim to be. Perhaps the connections are too fragile, or the heads are too heavy / bulky, but replacing with even 2.0 rated cables made everything work properly. This was all at 1080p and 18GBps max. I am not sure who certified them, but they cannot have been using proper equipment as these all failed using Murideo test equipment. AVOID. If anyone CAN recommend reliable HDMI cables I would love to hear from you

A quality 8K HDMI 2.1 Ultra High Speed HDMI cable
I researched KabelDirekt and was suitably impressed with their product stats, the 1m – 8K HDMI 2.1 Ultra High Speed HDMI cable is independently certified (48G, 8K@60Hz}. On receipt the cable was clearly a quality item, I have used this to connect a Sony UBP-X700 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray. To sum up: An excellent cable at a great price, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
