Great!
I have ordered 8 of 3TB WD Red Plus for my TrueNas server.I also used LSI card to connect all of these HDDs.It worked on first try, and for warranty the customer service registered my product even though it was out of region.I just had to upload proof of order, which you can get a copy from "your orders", and spoke a little with WD customer service and walah, it got registered.

So far so good
It is a hard drive. It stores data. I use it in a NAS and it writes as fast as I can send data to it. Not really much can be said about it except it does as advertised.

Item was defective from the start but replacement was sent and working fine.
I received the item and installed it into my nas and from the start the drive was making a loud noise as if the disk is rubbing while spinning. Just ordered a replacement. Will update once received.Update:Item received and is working much better than the previous model. Will be changing my rating to 4 stars for the refund and replacement.

Backage was not the same as the original
I bought it because I trusted the brand & amazon as a seller, but it didn't work, Hard drive arrived dead, package was not the same as the original. When connected to WD NAS and PC had severe vibration and knocking.

Excellent NAS Box Drives
I've used WD drives for years, and when I bought an AUSTOR NAS box, these were the ideal drives for it. I've had them for a couple of years now in the Box, and have had 0 issues with them. These drives are hard to come by, after the WD fiasco with NAS box drive types a few years back, but they are still the gold standard as far as I'm concerned. Read and write access through a 2.5GB connection is fast, even in Raid10.Overall, these drives are great for NAS and highly recommended if you can find them!

Reliable and great performance
I already bought a the same disk 3 years ago and it still going strong, performance is rock solid, so I wanted to go with the same disk again. The disk was tested fully in single mode and raid configuration and it meets my expectation fullyPro:- CMR disk so its suitable for NAS- Reliable for long time usage- Sequential write performance between 200-83MB/s depending on the region being written (The farther away from the inside of the disk platters you go, the higher the velocity of the head thus resulting in faster speed)Con:- tends to get hot so need proper ventilation- 5700 rpm compared to the red prod wich is 7200- warranty is only 3 years for the red pro compared to 5 years for the Red pro
