MAPCO, Pull Dowel Pin Removal Tool. Works as Both a Remover & Setter Tool for Dowel Pins – Positioning & Fastening

I graciously gave this product three start because the quality of the material is quite nice. With that said, all of the products from this company (puller as well as the studs) I feel have some design flaws. After every use, the butt of this puller comes loose no matter how much you tighten it. I’ve even added lock tight. Still comes loose and requires an adjustment every time. I almost want to ask for my money back in light of the fact that every puller stud broke after one use. See my review on those if you want more information. Nice material. Quite annoying to use for basic tasks. I would not recommend buying this. My friend at work has the kukko slide hammer which is a bit more, but has a more compact case, comes complete with the puller studs which have a far more superior design (the studs aren’t one whole piece but rather threaded with a bolt that can come out and be replaced if it breaks), and has an end that stays on the main road after each use. I really should give it one or two stars because it’s borderline useless unless you want to continuously adjust it. They need to definitely rethinks their design. I hope this review helps. I’ve used it probably 5 times and every time I’ll be there had to adjust it, or something broke. Does that really sound like a good product to you?
