I was a sceptic, but it works great. I sliced my thumb open when a glass that I was holding broke. Of course, it was Thanksgiving day. Options were a hospital emergency room ($$$) or nothing. I couldn't get the bleeding to stop. I was getting ready to bite the bullet and go to the emergency room when I remember that I had bought this product several months ago and threw it in the trunk of my car. The cut was bad enough that I didn't sprinkle the product on my thumb, but instead, I opened the bag and stuck my thumb in the pouch and then just held the pouch tight around my thumb. The bleeding was completely stopped in a couple of minutes. Just leave the Bleed Stop in the wound. It does not stop it from healing. I washed off the excess the next day. No doubt my thumb needed stitches, but not at what an emergency room would cost. Great product and preforms exactly as advertised. Definitely a must have in any first aid kit and especially when hiking.

This stuff works really well for a small two medium size cut. They make bigger packets if you plan on having a sword fight in a meat packing plan.But the stuff works really well to stop bleeding really immediately. You will have to bandage afterwards, but I’m supposing that you probably know that.It’s a small price to pay for the comfort they offer as well as the practical utility

Look, I haven't had to use Bleed Stop yet—and honestly, I hope it stays that way. But just knowing this little packet of powdered magic is sitting in my first aid kit like a seasoned bar bouncer, ready to stop bleeding in seconds, gives me a weird sense of comfort. Like carrying a fire extinguisher into a fireworks warehouse: you pray you won’t need it, but if things go sideways, you’ll look like a genius instead of a statistic.The packaging screams, “I fix messes,” and I believe it. The powder is supposed to clot blood like a pro-level medic with a stopwatch, which is a huge relief since my first response to blood is to panic and yell for paper towels. Bleed Stop doesn’t flinch. It doesn’t cry. It just gets the job done (allegedly—I’m still waiting on a real-life bloodbath to confirm).I keep a few packets in the glove box, one in my hiking bag, and another in the junk drawer next to expired batteries and mysterious screws. If anyone in my house ever decides to run with scissors, we’re ready for the fallout.Bottom line: I haven’t used it yet, but I feel like a survivalist overlord just owning it. If Bleed Stop works half as well as it claims, I’ll be patching up wounds like a back-alley medic in a post-apocalyptic movie. 5 stars for peace of mind, and for making me feel just a little more dangerous in a Dad kind of way.

After buy this I wasn’t getting hurt as often and the people around me ended up needed it more. So I was basically handing these out like they were sticks of bubble gum. Would you like one? They were able to stop the bleeding, quality was good I didn’t hear too many screams, the design comes in handy, and was also the right size to get the job done. Yes I would recommend this to others and also repurchase them when I need to. They make great stocking stuff for adults. Something easy to add to Birthday and Christmas cards. You can hand them out at sporting events, bars, or even social gatherings. It was a great idea and not many people remember it.

This is a great product....should be kept in every household, especially for those who are on blood thinners. The directions are very clear and straightforward. The size of the pouches are small enough to be able to travel with; but I would like to see them make the pouches resealable...once you open the pouch, you need to use a paperclip or something else to close it up because you do not need to use the whole pouch per single use. I feel the price point is a fair one too.

These have saved me more than a few times. I love how easy they are to store until use. These have quickly become a must have in every first aid kit for our family.

This stuff is great.I saw it. I think it was a Facebook ad, so I checked on Amazon, found it and bought it through Amazon.Couple months after it sat on my dresser,,, my two dogs got a little kerfuffle, and some blood was drawn. It was one of those things where they were play fighting, and it got serious— I noticed that all the blood over my room.So my roommate grabbed a squirt with water and one shot of water, separated the dogs we held the injured dog down. I poured the powder liberally over the wound and wrapped it with a piece of a pillowcase, which I taped down with packaging tape.The wound stop bleeding, almost instantly. 15 hours later., I took off my improvise bandage, and I couldn’t tell where she was actually injured,,,,, But by the amount of blood, I was sure it was a grave injury.Recommend this product higher for humans or dogs
