Gena MRx Anti-Septic, 4 Ounce
I used MRx years ago an an Anti-Septic for nail fungus. It's the one product that worked with acrylic nails. I began to use it for other purposes; e.g., scrapes, rashes, etc. Over the years, I couldn't find the product any longer -- until I searched Amazon. Once again I use it for many purposes and recommended it highly.

Will buy a gallon when I find it
Love this "safe for skin" antiseptic and will search again for the gallon when I need it next time. It wasn't available when I ordered the small one, but we'll keep the empty bottle for travelling. It's great for itching, bug bites, occasional blemishes, and so many other things. My uncle used it when he had an infected tooth and got better, but I would use a few drops of peroxide and some salt in warm water instead...just don't think I could take the burning I imagine he endured. For cuts, it does burn for a few seconds (see ingredients) but then breaks the initial pre application pain, somehow. Bottle says it kills staph and strep bacterial on contact. I like some of the ingredients, which include camphor, peppermint and clove oil, and boric acid. It's more than half alcohol. I should probably worry that I haven't researched the other ingredients, but it does the job and has for several years.

Simply the best antiseptic!
It is a powerful antiseptic that kills staph and strep infection on contact. I have used it topically for cuts, burns, acne, etc. I have even mixed it with water and gargled it when I suspect strep throat. I have applied it topically when I have mastitis, and I have applied it to necrotic spider bites on myself and others.Yesterday, when I went in for an infected spider bite (which had turned septic in a matter of hours, because I have limited if *any* immune abilities.) I asked the nurse if I could apply my own antiseptic, instead of the stuff they keep in the office after they did the extraction. She said sure, and was very curious about the Mrx. Guess what? No more sepsis. The nurse called me today to ask me where she could get her own bottle of MrX.
