Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Pure Lemon Extract, 16 fl oz

So far I've been please with this vanilla in my cakes. I do a LOT of baking, and this was priced right for the amount of vanilla you receive. My pound cakes are not lacking in flavor, so I'll keep using it!

I was hesitant to purchase because it’s so much vanilla…but that’s what also makes it great! When you do the math, the size for the price is amazing! It has a perfect concentration level for all recipes ❤️

Pleasantly surprised by the quality. I will say that the first bottle seal broke open during shipping and vanilla was all over the box. But I contacted Amazon and they sent a replacement. Very happy.

For some strange reason this vanilla was bitter and did not taste or smell like vanilla at all when first opened. Now, after a couple of days, it’s like McCormick’s - which is good. Maybe it has to “breathe”…

This is premium quality vanilla in a large value size. It's comparable to the most popular brands.

When I do use this lemon extract I know the taste will be there, with the ease of use with the ingredients, quality says it all, and baking abilityif the flavor is still there after baking the ingredients. Thanks!

The alcohol flavor in this vanilla is so overpowering and even stings the tongue AFTER it's had had time to settle. I am a vanilla freak and a southern cook who knows my stuff. Trust me. Don't try to save money on this product. If you're a long time McCormick customer like me, you'll regret having not bought that instead! (BTW, I use the camelcamelcamel app to alert me to price drops on McCormick, then I stock up because I use vanilla SO much. And, NO, I don't work for that app.)Recipes I've made using this inferior product include:*Vanilla ice cream*Vanilla pudding*Marshmallows*OatmealAfter giving it a fair chance with these recipes, I feel I'm highly qualified to rate it so low.My son and I worked hard to make marshmallows for our bonfire tomorrow night and now I'll have to make another batch because these are trash. They taste like alcohol with minimal vanilla flavor, UNLIKE last week's batch which was a 5/5 rating (I used McCormick that time.)I don't have time for things like this, Amazon. Shame on you!I sadly missed my return window, so now I'm mad at Amazon for making such a ripoff of a product.
