Finally a working converter that works in UAE for US appliances. Simple , small and does the job .

Product connected to appliance with 110v converting to 220v . In few seconds there was smoke from the connector but continued to work fine . Immediately disconnected and applied for refund / return. The product is unreliable and cause fire

Works as designed

Within a minute, it switched off and smoke started to come out of it. I immediately cut the power of that socket and unplugged it, since it was hot but not burning hot. The switch of the device was placed in the correct setting, but it didn’t work even before the smoke started to come out. I’ll definitely apply for a refund.

Blew up when connected to 51W hair straightener, even it saids it can handle 70W on the product page.I tried to connect it with no load first and it worked just fine, so it's not a faulty unit.Feel so disappointed.

This burned through a brand new Blu-ray device and created a lot of smoke. It destroyed an expensive device that I now have to pay more for to replace. How are such sellers continuing to sell devices when there are other reviews that say the same thing

Within a minute from starting to use the converter (on a correct setting), it started smoking and smelling – take care of yourself and look elsewhere.
