The Tapping Solution for Pain Relief: A Step-by-Step Guide to Reducing and Eliminating Chronic Pain Review: A passionate and well-written book on the benefits of tapping for pain relief - Being familiar with tapping and Nick’s other book, I purchased this book for my daughter who lives with pain daily. This book is a stand-alone for either people familiar with tapping or are new to the process. It is an easy read and it only took me a day or two to get through it. The title says it all: The Tapping Solution for Pain: A Step-By-Step Guide. There is a thorough explanation (in my layman’s eyes anyway) on the tapping process and why it works, along with countless tapping scripts to release stress, frustration and limiting beliefs due to pain. This book is not only beneficial for those who suffer with pain but also from a gamut of emotions including stress and overwhelm. I found it fascinating that chronic pain itself becomes the diagnosis after repressed emotions become buried deep within the body (due to an injury or emotional trauma). The emotions surrounding that traumatic experience manifest as actual physical symptoms, sometimes taking years to present. How encouraging and exciting, that tapping on these emotions has the potential to release chronic daily pain! The Tapping Solution for Pain Relief: A Step-by-Step Guide is a passionate, well-written and enjoyable book.It is filled with hope and possibilities for anyone who has suffered with chronic or immediate pain. Kudos Nick, well done! Review: Excellent Guidance And Solutions To Pain - Excellent book which may shift the way the world deals with pain. So many people suffer with pain and this method is easy to learn. Nick Ortner is an expert and helps thousands of people. He writes in a user-friendly way so you can learn this fast and use it when you need it. I use tapping to relieve pain and it works. I also use tapping to relieve stress and fear and it works. I use tapping if I fall on the ice, burn my hand or cut my finger and it reduces not only the pain but the bleeding and swelling and tapping quickens my recovery time. Nick Ortner has written a book that is easy to follow and will help you, your family and friends. (See Photos) I cut my finger in the garden with scissors. The cut was deep and painful. I applied pressure with my index finger, held my hand above my heart and then used tapping with my other hand. The first picture was 24 hours later and the deep cut has healed the tissue together so there is no deep gash. There was no pain and I even did the dishes with a glove that eveing. In 4 days the wound was healed. Ask yourself, Who would you be without your pain?

Buy it!
It is brilliant! I am using the tapping solution every day for myself and my clients. Easy, simple and works! My daughter recently has been using it as well and it made a difference in her career. She is using tapping to enhance her career. I was briefly introduced to tapping 7 years ago but did not pay much attention after one of the therapist helped me to overcome huge anxiety related to work stress. I was amazed how quickly my anxiety from 10 went to 5. And later on I have forgotten about the techniques!

This Book Is A Must Read!
This book is a must read for all of us looking for something to help ourselves. This book is about EFT, also known as Emotional Freedom Therapy. The author, who I have developed a high regard for, prefers to call this technique, "Tapping", hence the title,"The Tapping Solution". It describes how to use acupuncture points at specific locations, and, combined with psychology, and self affirmations, can be used to help control pain. From my experience, it works! I have been a chronic pain patient for over ten years, and I have noticed a dramatic decline in my discomfort. There are many patients who have eliminated their pain. I hope everyone reads this book, and if you aren't a reader, then Google the author. Then go to his web site and click on any link where he and fellow therapists, health associates, and physicians, describe their experience with clients and patients, through the Tapping method. Tapping is a Mind-Body health discipline that is rapidly gaining acceptance. Please don't stop seeing and following your Doctor's instructions. Always check with him or her first. I have a feeling that there will be no conflict. Live Long, and start Tapping! ;-)

A Breath of Fresh Air!
This book is exactly what the title says, a step-by-step guide to reducing and eliminating chronic pain! Nick takes the reader through the entire process and helps you peal away layer-by-layer the residue of emotions that have lodged in your body and are contributing to your pain. There were so many HUGE a-ha's for me, and I even realized how at times my pain was serving me and instead of holding on to it, Nick guided me to release it so I could move on to the person I want to become. If you are struggling with chronic pain or even if you only have the occasional headache or muscle crick, I highly recommend this book if you want lasting relief. There are many wonderful Tapping exercises throughout the book and references to audio bonuses, and Tapping meditations. I'm in the process of working on chapter 10, which is creating a healthy, abundant, pain-free vision for my future and I would never have been here without this step-by-step guide!

A positive game changer to pain management
I've had a chronic pain condition since 2012. In many ways, the treatment was worse than the pain; tests, meds, injections, spinal cord stimulator, and humiliating judgement from health professionals, family and friends. A dear friend gave me this book. I let it sit on a shelf for 2 yrs. thinking it was too simple to help my complex pain issues. Then I hit rock bottom and decided I had nothing left to lose by trying it. It helped me to identify underlying factors that contributed to pain and provided a roadmap for taking control using a this technique. In 2016 I took my life back because of this book. I still experience pain. I'm just able to take control of it without meds, injections or surgeries. I have purchased several copies over the years to give away.

As soon as I started to read this book, I knew I was on the right track but I was not sure it could address the mess my body was in. My leg problems started 20 years ago when I quit smoking and got Graves Disease. When my thyroid was removed, I was put on synthetic replacement therapy and my body slowly deteriorated. I gained 30 pounds in 5 weeks and was told by my doctors that I was 'eating too much".. which was the opposite of the truth. I was so sick and achy that I barely ate anything at all. I kept gaining over the last 20 years and every diet I tried only helped for a while. My legs, which started hurting with the Graves, were not used to carrying the extra pounds and became chronically painful. I knew that my problem was adrenal-related because the weight I had put on was classical "Cushing's-like" shape.. big belly, swollen face, buffalo hump, but my legs and arms were not fat.. but, I did not have Cushing's disease.. I just looked it. When Nick started explaining how cortisol effects chronic pain, I almost kissed the book. I read every page like it was gold, and tapped with him and let myself drift off into personal directions that were calling me. By page 95, I accidentally discovered why I was eating snacks at night even though I wasn't hungry. I would sit after a meal and feel I wanted more, but what? a dessert? a coffee? crackers and cheese? I didn't really know if it was salty or sweet, but I wanted something! Well, by tapping I suddenly realized that it was not food at all, but an unresolved ritual I had when I smoked 20 years ago.. I was craving a cigarette (even though I haven't smoked in 20 years and a don't even consciously remember being a smoker)! As soon as I realized that, I laughed out loud, and the munchies were gone.. and 9 days later, so were 8 pounds! (bonus #1). imagine? Now, I still eat exactly the same way and amount. It was the 'stress' of the munchies more than what I ate (which wasn't much) that put the pounds on. As soon as I realized the cause, the pounds came off. The pain relief came later. It would not leave me. Right up to the last chapter, my leg pain was still there. Terrible muscle cramps and arthritis in my knees. I was stressing more because the book was coming to an end and no hope in sight. To make it worse, Nick said the no-no word in the last chapter.. 'exercise'. You cannot tell a person who cannot walk to exercise. I have tried many times to do that, but it made the pain worse. I would have to rest a day after shopping at Costco because my legs would be so bad. I thought the book had failed me as I read the final pages. The next day I was depressed, but I tapped on the depression because I had gotten into the routine of it. And then it hit me. My legs were locked in pain, just like a fist, because I needed people to see how much I hurt on the inside. It was my visible expression of my internal pain from the Graves disease.. it was my doctor's letter to get the day off work 20 years ago. When Nick wrote 'exercise' my feet nailed to the floor and my body stiffened in resistance. He was asking me to give up the only thing that people sympathized with me for. No one cared about my invisible thyroid problems (which BTW I had remedied about a year ago by getting off of the synthetic medication). As soon as I realized it, my leg muscles relaxed and I could move! Now I still have arthritis, but now I am free to get on a bike and exercise which before I couldn't. I don't have 3 things wrong with me, I only have one.. and it's something I can overcome with now welcome 'exercise'. I cannot recommend this book more highly. It is so well organized that while I was reading it I found that as questions arose in my mind, he addressed them in the next chapter.. it was almost funny. Excellent, excellent book.

I really enjoyed this book. A great read for anyone interested in EFT therapy. Nick Ortner is extremely knowledgeable on tapping and emotions and how they are linked to pain. 5 stars from me.
