Easy to work with. Beautiful satin finish.
Brushed the sealer on with a sponge brush, then wiped the residual with a cloth to even out the coat. Dried quick with a beautiful finish. Very happy with the product. Recommend mineral spirits for cleanup.

Quality product - looks great and holds up!
I have been using this sealer for about 15 years on my swim platform. I did stray away one time and try Total Baot's version (hot tip: don't) once. This looks great, and in brackish water, under cover, I get about 2 years (with two heavy coats applied after sanding) until I have to re apply. And it looks great when you are done! I have learned to trust Star Brite. They produce great products, but don't advertise very much. I guess they rely on word of mouth, like this.

Gives a warm attractive look
Although some reviewers say it turned their teak orange, I found that not to be the case. It does have a tint that is warm, but a pleasing look if you don’t want the silvery weathering look, or want to delay it. A quart goes a long long way if you apply it thin, with just the slightest dab on a foam brush. I still have a little left after sealing a loveseat, chair, ottoman and two side tables. The furniture in my photos are new, one month old under a pergola, and the loveseat was unboxed and assembled the day of sealing. They all look the same after sealing, whether a month of exposure or right out the box. The wood will chew up foam brushes quickly so buy a half dozen, or a brush or two per pieces of furniture. I have no comment on longevity since I just applied it but it is easy to work with, nice and thin, and I like the look. It does take a while to cure, maybe a couple full days of direct sunlight, so be patient and make sure its cured before you put cushions on it.

Good for SHORT time
**update 7/20- based on how the furniture looks now would give this 2-3 stars max.... now after a couple of months of sun the finish has taken a pretty noticable hit, no more luster, color has fade significantly .I think this needs additional sealer if you live near beach or in CA . Without you will be redoing at least every 3-4 months if you want it to look great like it did early on.---+++After 5 years using Semco I wanted to try this. Much thicker , almost like a gel stain. Exact same color as the honey tone Semco product which I like. The key to finishing teak or any wood is prep. If you completely clean and remove all previous sealers, let the furniture fully dry than applying is very easy. Essentially wipe on, let sit a few and wipe off. Didn't cover as good as Semco which is super thin , more like a thin gel stain . Couple spots wouldn't take but that showed I didn't completely remove previous stain. Resending with 220 grit and reapplied. Prep is key! I did notice a final coat of Howard's wax gave it more depth and also covered a couple of spots I missed. My guess if you have poor results you didn't strip or properly prepare your project. Must say customer service was excellent quickly responding to my email. A quart easily covered large 3 person teak couch, 2 person love seat, 1 person chair and small end table. Still have enough left for touch up .If it lasts in Southern CA with constant sun and salt air for even on season will give this 5 stars

Easiest use, and reapply, long lasting!
Lasts longer than teak oil, and easier to reapply than varnish, this product keeps your brightwork looking good for 8-12 months. Simply wash clean to reapply! Best yet, I can "patch" in high traffic areas without having to redo it all, like foot steps and toe rails at lifeline gates. Nothing but compliments, but no shine either. Protects the wood and no tape required since it scrubs off the fiberglass when I hit it using a foam brush.

Brought Our Teak Furniture Back to Life!
I used this teak sealer about five months ago after sanding and buffing our outdoor teak furniture, which really needed some TLC. The sealer gave it a beautiful color and smooth finish that made everything look like new again. Even after months outside, the finish is still holding up great—no green buildup or fading. It gave our furniture the refreshed look we were hoping for, and I’m really impressed with how well it’s lasted. Highly recommend for anyone restoring weathered teak!

Worth the money. Use with their teak cleaner
Applied their teak wash, sanded lightly all over 220 grit, and finished with a 3M ultrafine scotch-brite pad and then a wipe with paint thinner- stuff kept coming off which I suspect could make for a cloudy appearance. Very thick material which is fine because it did not run at all or drop a single drop on the patio! Brushes out really well and easy to wipe small blobs with a rag. I applied a relatively thin coat and got a beautiful, deep finish with no shine and the appearance of the grain is outstanding. A little goes a long ways. I suspect since it was a light coat, I may have to reapply toward the fall but it is just perfect now. NOTE-- very slow to dry, keep it in sunshine, flip the furniture over and rotate.

Good product bad pint
This is a good product. I have purchased two quarts of this stain to cover four teak chairs and one teak table. The product leaves a good color and covers well. However, I just purchased a pint to finish the top of teak table and the stain contained a film throughout the entire container. This happens after you open and use a product and do not use the product for a long period of time in general based on paints I have purchased. You generally can mix the paint to reduce and limit this film. Unfortunately this was not the case for this pint of stain. This film was already mixed in the stain. This film made the process to apply the stain much more difficult based on having to remove the film from the table every time I apply more stain. This was disappointing and why I gave a good product a low rating.
