Something is Killing the Children Vol. 3 Paperback – 15 June 2021

I got into collecting comic books after this series had been released. At that time, it was THE hottest indie comic title (it still is in some circles) and so the first issues were well out of my price range. Volume 3 collects issues 11 to 15, concluding the first story arc, into one easily consumable book, and believe me, you will read this cover to cover in no time! This book is just the right size to be read in bed, the covers are of a nice heavy-weight card stock, and the pages are of high quality and full of detail.WARNING: This series is not for the light of heart (and NOT for kids!) as there are some very difficult issues being dealt with, along with a hefty addition of death, dismemberment, and gore. However, if you didn't suspect that from the series title, I don't know what to tell you.If you are looking for a great story that is currently ongoing and has also been picked to be developed for TV, look no further than Something is Killing the Children.

Story is picking up, not that it's slow but learning more about the things going on behind the scenes and really enjoy reading this. The artwork and the way certain colors are used is great, it almost looks like watercolor sometimes in some squares. But definitely recommend this and can't wait to start the next volume.

El producto llegó impecableEn cuanto a la historia, es la conclusión de esta interesante historia mezcla entre “Stranger Things” e “It”James Tynion sabe como desarrollar a sus personajes y sobre todo como darles un buen final, te estoy hablando Scott Snyder ,Lo recomiendo al 100%

Something is killing the Children Vol. 3The hype is still real 😅Wer bis jetzt die ersten beiden Bände gelesen hat wird sicher nicht vor dem dritten Band aufhören, den hier wird der erste Story Arc beendet.Und was für einer das war 😳Geile Horror-Action, krasse Brutalität, richtig gute Entwicklung der Charaktere und vor allem der Beziehungen zwischen denen.Was das Team um @jamesthefourth , @wertherscut und @pollomuerto hier geschafft hat ist zurecht einer der gehyptesten Titel der aktuellen Comiclandschaft.Springt noch auf den Zug auf, holt euch die Trades oder die 8th Prints von den Heften, wie auch immer 😅 es macht einfach Spaß die Reihe zu lesen.Eine TV Serie soll ja auch in Entwicklung sein, aber vor der Umsetzung habe ich jetzt schon Angst. Die Explizitheit gehört zum Titel und trägt so viel zur Stimmung und den Charakteren bei. Das kann ich mir gerade noch nicht so richtig als Realverfilmung vorstellen, aber mal schauen 😅Ich bleibe dabei, Pflichttitel! 😉
