Engaging and well written book!
My ten year old (who has been diagnosed with learning difficulties related to reading and writing, as well as ADHD), really loved this book. It is an engaging book with not only text, but photos, illustrations, and timelines. The book was needed for a school project. It was so well written that we never had to fight about getting him to read it. It gave a good history of the Wright brothers and their whole life, not just the part where they flew for the first time. I highly recommend d for any young aviation enthusiast!

Series is outstanding!
I ordered this book, and one about the Tuskegee Airmen< for my gson's 9th birthday. I was a bit afraid these would be a little easy for him, as he reads above his 3rd grade level. They are plainly written, but kept my attention. There are questions, and other things to do iin the back of the Books, and I am totally delighted. Have received the same series about Jim Henson and Stan Lee for him, and they are all top notch. My goal was to tell him about his great gfather he never met, since he worked as an engineer on the P-51, and to prod him a bit if he's interested in aviation. I think these will suceed

Great book for kinder/1st students
Great book. Read these to my kids before bed. I love being able to read non-fiction biographical material about real people who have done amazing things in language that my 6 year old can engage with.
