This bowl is so pretty and I really wanted to love it but I can’t have read the description properly. I thought the fish was set into transparent resin with a flat base to the bowl. Instead it is somehow ‘glued’ to the bottom of the bowl so the fish sticks up. As my cats use a water fountain I thought I could feed them food from this but cleaning old food from the bowl is harder as there are some nooks and crannies around the fish. It’s very pretty though, the colour is lovely and the quality seems good.

Bought this to try to encourage my cat to drink water, she seems to dislike every fountain I've bought for her, regardless of expense lol.. she's elderly and I don't want her to get kidney problems like our other cat.Bowl is lovely quality ceramic, it's exactly the type and size of bowl I get her as food dishes. The raised fish is very well done, it's a proper 3D fish and not just a fish-shaped bump on the bottom. And it has had the desired effect, saw her drinking out of it within a couple of hours of putting it down. The packaging was brilliant, can't imagine it arriving broken unless it has literally been used as a football on the way!Happy cat, happy cat-mum, can't recommend it highly enough as a water bowl, particularly for reluctant drinkers who need to be attracted to water.

Novelty drinking bowl, well made and a nice size. My cat was so excited! (actually I’m lying; I was excited, the cat was indifferent).

Had to return the first one due to several gaps in the glaze of the fish. The replacement was better but still not perfect.

Very nice item. Good quality.
