QualGear 150 inch 1.2 Gain White Screen
So I haven't had a chance to put this together yet, but thought I would offer some initial impressions based on going through the packages. Once I get it put together I will update this review and add some pics.Shipping Packages: The packaging looked very well done, and while the exterior box was not damaged, I would guess that the internal components could withstand a decent amount of damage to the exterior box without themselves being damaged.Hardware: I was a bit underwhelmed on this part. The corner brackets were only spot welded vs having full welds. That makes me worry a bit about how well they will hold up over time. The center joints are stout, but were so scratched up that they looked like they have been used before. They are probably just this way from being put in a large container all-together in the warehouse. The Frame pieces are very solid and seem to be of good quality. I haven't unrolled the screen yet to see that. The rods used to go into the screen fabric are solid fiberglass rods with the ability to screw together for the longer horizontal part of the screen. My only issue with these is that the instructions call out that these rods are metal, and while the rods provided do seem to be of good quality, metal rods would add more strength, which would be welcomed for a 150 in screen. Finally, the installation manual looks to be very informative, and the instructions seem to be pretty straight forward. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and excited to get this put together.***3/5 Update****I have had the screen put together and up for 2 weeks now. The only issue is that one of the four bolts broke off, luckily I had two studs back-to-back in the wall or it would have created an issue. I tried to go by a lag bolt to replace it at the local hardware store, but they didn't sell lag bolts that small, and the smallest that was at the hardware store (1/4 inch) do not fit in the brackets. It didn't end up creating a problem with hanging the screen though as I just used the top two brackets. It looks great up, and the picture looks amazing. I will post some pics once I get a chance to take them. I would buy this again and recommend to a friend.

Plz note it's Not Gray it's Silver
It's not gray it's very light like silver, I wish they mention lite gray atleast. They should correct this for future buyers, it's took me 2 hrs to assemble, it's not easy to undo everything,

Beautiful Screen but not easy to install
Screens are very difficult to buy online because you cannot see them. I have a dedicated dark room and wanted to compromise on getting something that wasn't going to be washed out when I have ambient lighting on for karaoke parties so I didn't go with the ultra white option and it would be very dim if I went with the grey. The material is very nice and looks like pretty high quality construction. I've compare it with the ones we used at work and they seem to use the plastic material which was a lot smoother. This is a fabric and is quite thick. You have to be very careful in handling it so that it doesn't fold creating any creases.I've yet to project anything up on this screen and will update my review accordingly. the assembly of the screen was fairly easy up to the final few steps. you'll need some muscle power to stretch the material on the frame and getting on those last few pegs were not fun. my last peg bent and is holding on for dear life right now so I'm hoping it doesn't give one day and exposing that one corner. I ended up getting a little ripple in that same corner and I have no idea how to get ride of it. I'm not taking this thing apart and replacing that one peg because I ended up with blisters on my knuckles pulling the material into place. The center support bar was also a job that even if you had an extra hand to help you pull on the frame while trying to swivel the bar in, this is not an easy task. Mind you I assembled this beast by myself and will be posting a video of it soon. I'm currently waiting on a few things to set up my room which is a project on it's own and installing LED lights which will be backlighting this screen.overall I'm excited to use this product, I think at the distance in the dark the ripple will not be very noticeable but I am concerned about that one peg that may give one day. It's going to be a b*#$! to remove the center support bar, unravel everything and put it together again. I'm hoping the material will stretch after time and will be a bit easier to remove.

Surprised at how good this is
It's a quality product for a reasonable price. I have some ambient light and the grey gives a very nice image. Very satisfied. Not that hard to put together. As others have mentioned, the center support needs some muscle and a little 'violence' to get it into place. Once assembled it look great. There was one problem though. My size had markings for 4 tensioners on the shorter sides. However, the screen itself had 5 holes. Took about 5 minutes to correct - but check first and save yourself some effortI think the mounting hardware they give you is overkill. I just used two in the top and didn't use anything in the bottom. The more screws you use the harder this will be to line up and get on the wall since the screw heads are just very slightly smaller than the mounting hole. Absolutely no reason for more if you've got a good beam to screw into. Use a 3/16" pilot hole with a 10mm socket if you've got one.

Excellent value-for-money screen which is not short on quality.
This is my first-ever home cinema setup. I have an Epson EH-TW5210 which, combined with a Hoya Pro 1 polarizing filter gave me a very good picture on a "tack to the wall" £20 screen. But it was a bit too dark and the screen had a sort of pebble-dash finish which I became more and more aware of behind the image. I built this screen all by myself and laid it against the wall covering some of the existing screen for comparison, and got the shock of my life. The £20 screen had a yellow tint to it, whereas this was pure white. It is also perfectly smooth and the 1.2 gain nicely offsets the darkness of the Hoya Pro 1 without losing its benefits.I am absolutely delighted with this screen and think it is excellent value for money compared to the dearer alternatives. The colours are rich, the picture is sharp with more detail, and it literally just "pops". To me, it perfectly recreates the look and depth of a cinema screen, and that's what it's about, isn't it? My home cinema is now complete and is worth a lot more than I paid for it - that's how good this combination is.

Professional approach for home cinema.
The screen is a massive improvement over me using a white wall to project onto. Construction was relatively easy via a full colour and comprehensive instruction manual. The screen material stretched quite easily onto plastic retainer/plugs as opposed to the seamingly impossible spring tension systems employed by a lot of other brands. Hanging it on a drywall proved a challenge but I managed to secure a wooden baton to the wall thereby enabling me to use the screw provided. I finished the look with LED strip lights from amazon and the result is awesome. Highly recommend this product.

Excellent screen
This is an excellent screen for use with an ultra-short throw projector. The instructions are thorough and it's vital to follow them to the letter if you want a projection surface that 100% flat. Putting the screen up needs some careful measurement and positioning to get the four screws in precisely the right place, so it's worth taking your time.

great improvement
I had just a white wall before which was already o.k. since we are not watching so often. Otherwise, why not having a screen. I've read some reviews about foldable or rollable screens and almost decided not to spend the money, finally found this one. GREAT! Quite easy to assemble (daddy and daughter), and what a great improvement! The sharpness and colour intensity got a lot better. No wrinkles at all, and according to the mechanism I think it will never wrinkle. Easy to handle, when not needed, you can free you wall :)

Great screen
Great screen for the money. Bought the 100" screen as most places either sell 93" or 110" and really needed 100" to fill the space.Quite easy to put together the only fiddly bit is attaching the screen to the wall - You put 4 screws in the wall and you hook 2 on the top and bottom. Bottom ones are nearly impossible so I ended up using a small amount of pink grip to secure it.Only downside was Amazon Prime. Took nearly 15 days to deliver the item - Not 2 as advertised
